CE Painting & Handyman

I've used CE/Marvin on several projects and I've always had great service and results. He is very personably and professional. I do a minimum of 3-5 estimates on any project and CE/Marvin always has fair pricing for the job. Here are some of my projects...installing new attic doors, painting and sealing my chimney, tearing out a wall, installing new countertops and backsplash, painting cabinets and installing new faucets and new hardware and he built the cabinet to install a new microwave. When Home Depot dropped the ball on my son's new wood install I called Marvin and he was able to help right away and fixed the baseboards that Home Depot screwed up.

Marvin was most helpful in his advice and professionalism. He was hands-on from the initial estimate visit through completion. CE did a great job of exterior wood repairs and painting on my home, followed painting the kitchen and installing a ceiling fan. I will definitely use them when needing a whole-house paint job.

I struggled to find someone to finish building a 7x7 shed in by backyard. I had started it but could not finish. Marvin and his assistant completed it perfectly and also did some other handyman tasks (hanging large mirrors, cabinet repairs). A great handyman resource. Thank you!

After 3 years of DIY attempts to find and stop a roof water leak into the dining room ceiling, we found Marvin. Not only did he locate the leak, the repair job (removal of drywall in dining room ceiling) and tape and bedding are perfect. One cannot tell a repair happened. He is beyond 5 stars. from now on, any work we need done, we will hire Marvin!

Marvin and Paul did a great job. they came on time and painted the walls beautifully. There were couple of touch up area that I pointed out, they touched it up with no complaints. I would definitely recommend them. Very honest.

Marvin did a great job replacing both the underlying plywood and the siding/trim on my chimney. I appreciated being able to give him the paint beforehand so he could paint the siding and trim ahead of time. I was not as pleased with the cleanup, as there was a fair amount of good sized wood chips, nails, and screws that found their way into my gutter. Fortunately, I cleaned this out before any rain. Perhaps the hammer that was left in the yard was compensation for me cleaning the gutter myself. lol

1. I did find out why the Venetian blinds don't work, and that they have to be replaced. 2. The electric shade in my bathroom was fixed so that it worked four times ( 3 times while the handyman was still here, and 1 time the next day). Then it stopped working again. Another repair person told me that the reason it stopped working was because "the vibration caused by the shade moving up and down caused the (red) wire to fall out of the electricunit, because it had never been RECONNECTED -- It was merely inserted into the unit through the opening on one end. It only worked until the vibration caused it to fall out again.

Marvin turned our empty basement into a beautiful two bedrooms, one full bath apartment. He did a great job and I am very please with his work and I recommend him to anyone.

My name is Catrina Johnson and I live in Lewisville Tx. I just wanted to share what a wonderful job this company did for our door frame repair. Not to mention that the price was reasonable. Our door looks great and my husband and I are so pleased. He did such a great and thorough job that we cannot tell anything happened! We had to break through the door frame of our garage because our dog somehow pushed the lock and we were unable to get into our home. The staff person was professional and knew the work and did a thorough job, excellent work/repair. Also the staff person answering the calls corresponded with me and followed up. I hope this comment will help others like myself looking for good service and this company is it.

Always get bids, companies seem to be low to start and then second jobs go up.

Marvin was very professional and helpful. He did great work and came exactly when he said he would! We were very pleased and will call again.

Marvin called to come earlier than he had planned which was great. We got our closet fixed and he even went to Lowe's to get new rods for the closet without us having to worry about it.
