About us

I'm a multidisciplinary artist and the owner of Shiner Studios LLC in Denver, CO. I offer specialty Paint and Plaster Finishes, Decorative and Functional Vertical Concrete finishes for walls, fireplaces, architectural columns, showers, etc for interior and exterior spaces. Eco conscious materials and practices are important to me and an emphasis in the work I create. Due to the specialized nature of my work, the size of each project, projects may require additional assistance. I offer murals and would like to create more in that realm. I create and offer artwork for sale as originals or prints and can be located on the "Shop Art" tab of my website. My mission is to bring beauty and inspiration through the transformation of client's spaces. My tag line is the "The Art of Healing With Art" as I believe in the power of color, texture, spacial design, and creating our own sanctuaries in the world for daily renewal.

If we could give Krista a 10 Star Rating; we would. And well deserved. We hired Krista to update our family room brick fireplace wall. This was a rather large project to complete. We painstakingly searched for months to find an artist that could specialty paint and update the dark brick. We didn't want the brick painted just a solid color. We wanted the brick to look natural. We did have an 'inspiration' photo of what we were after. We knew we needed someone that had the artistic ability to specialty paint the grout and each brick individually; to accomplish the natural look we were after. Plus incorporate their talent into the project. Krista did a phenomenal job in accomplishing this and far exceeded our expectations. Her artistic ability, listening skills and experience (and patience) were exactly what delivered the final results. Our family room brick fireplace wall is now lighter, natural looking and absolutely beautiful. We are very grateful to have found someone as talented as Krista. She definitely elevated the interior of our home.
