Reviews
Write a ReviewThey need to fix the job.
Good communication, explain the job to you and exactly what will be done. I am satisfied with the job as well.
Did a nice job. Great to work with.
Fast, dependable service
Contractor was courteous, appeared to be knowledgeable. Discussed the project, gave me a viable solution, and a reasonable price. Performed the work the same day, and offered to come back if I observed any further problems.
First of all let me start off by saying do not I repeat do not hire this crook. He came to fix the minor cracks of my backyard and repaint my concrete which the contract I signed specified. The worker he had at my house painted just painted not one crack was sealed and on top of that he also painted my fence the aluminum siding along my house and drops of paint on my steps. The owner swore he was coming to fix the issue everyday for 5 days then I never heard from him again. When the price seems to good to be true that?s because it is. I would never recommend or hire this company
Very reasonable and considerate.
CH Construction USA Corp. laid two paver walkways on existing concrete walkways at my home. The walkway looks good (not excellent, see several points below) and the price was very reasonable. However, here are the reasons why I am giving this company 3 out of 5 stars. 1. The pavers in several places are not level. In a few areas, there are pavers higher than others. The same day the job was completed, I texted (way that we usually communicate) the owner, Mr. Irfan Ellahi, and he did not return my text. I did follow-up with another, a day or two later, and he finally responded. I gave him 3 different days with 4 different times that he can come and had no respond back. 2. In one specific area the pavers had bigger spaces than others. It was simple geometry to cut a few of the pavers to eliminate the wide spaces. They were still here working and after discussing it with the owner, he tells me that it cannot be done, which is not the case. He did not want to redo that area. He responded by saying **good luck finding someone that can do it for you** Really, I hired your company to do this job correctly. Why am I going to pay someone else to fix your workmanship when you are here doing the work that I hired you to do? 3. The owner has almost ZERO customer service skills. He does not know how to listen. Every time that I have had a conversation with him, he interrupts me in the middle of my sentences. I keep telling him **excuse me, please let me finish and then you can respond** In every discussion, he appears that he needs to win. He needs to take a few courses in giving good customer service else he will not be in business for a long time. I did mention to the owner that he will not be getting a good review from me on the first day that he was here. Yet, he decided that he can continue to be argumentative as he said to me **I do not need your review** and **I do not care** 4. This relates to point #3 above. In one of those discussions which got a bit heated, almost all of our conversations did, he started to get very angry and started to show that aggression by pounding his left fist on his right arm muscle. I believe that I was very close in calling the local police authorities as I felt that he was trying to intimidate me. 5. One of the biggest mistakes that I made was that the contract was not very detail. Please make sure that everything is spelled out else he will tell you that **it is not in the contract even if you know that it is part of the job** For example, when doing the edges of the pathway, those edges/borders need to be dug down a bit to create a solid foundation, possible 4-6 inches then concrete should be placed to create a firm border with the edging pavers laid on top of it. This was not done. The concrete was laid on top of the dirt then the border pavers were laid. I believe over time this will shift. I spoke to the owner about it, and he said in your contract *it does not say that I need to go down a foot or any depth* 6. When concreting the border, there were excess concrete that were along the edges that did not look aesthetic to the eye. He told me that he will remove when it dried which he did but used a spade and not a small hammer. In doing so, he chipped off the top of a paver and did not replace it. In another area where the paver needs to be cut, he placed a paver there that has a cut in it as it was cut too much rather than replacing it with a paver that was cut correctly. There are other situations that I can detail above but I do hope that if you plan to use this company, please keep these points in mind else you will have regrets like I did. I would not recommend.
What we have contracted I did my best sorry too say but you don't have miners how to speak someone you talk. I work you pay I told you I do not want personal you go again and again personal. Have great day.
Fast, dependable service.
