Poor Experience with Ciao Bella Moving Co ? Avoid at All Costs!I paid for dishware packaging, but none of the individual pieces were wrapped at all resulting in significant damage to our antique dishware and other delicate porcelain items. The company refused to issue a refund for these unprovided services. Additionally, we were explicitly assured that our paintings would be individually wrapped for protection?they weren't, leading to avoidable damage during transit. To make matters worse, the movers packed items we specifically instructed them to leave behind, while inexplicably leaving other pieces unpacked that were meant to be included. Their claims process is an absolute farce?unresponsive and ineffective. This was a costly nightmare; I strongly advise against using them for any move.

CIAO Bella did a full pack move for us from Ct. to Texas. They showed up with six guys who worked all day professionally packing our things. They work with amazing precision. They wrap all of the fragile before they box them and they mark all of the boxes accordingly. They even cleaned up afterwards. They packed our 5,000 sq foot house in only 2 days. They are very friendly and have great communication skills. They were one of the lower prices we received plus they offer to store everything in a climate controlled facility until you’re ready to have delivery FOR FREE!!!! I highly recommend CIAO Bella moving company.

We were scammed by this moving company during our move from California to Houston, TX. We agreed on a fixed price of $2,300, but on delivery day, they claimed their truck could not fit through the gates of our apartment complex and demanded an additional $500 to transfer our belongings to a U-Haul. Despite the leasing office confirming the gate could easily accommodate a larger vehicle, they insisted on the extra charge. We had no choice but to pay. Additionally, when the delivery arrived, only one person showed up and charged us another $100 for stairs, bringing the total to $2,800 for just 10 boxes, a sofa, and a few chairs. This was an extremely frustrating experience, and we strongly advise avoiding this company, as they will find ways to add hidden fees at delivery.

I basically have the same experience that the last person who gave a one star review had. Ciao Bella was hired through Safe Ship movers who was another company that I would not recommend. I paid ciao Bella over $3000 for full replacement value of anything that was broken, lost, etc. They have not honored their commitment and are offering me less than $200 for items that cost more than $200. I have never had a moving experience like this before, and although the men were very nice, they lost important, nostalgic pieces of art I had and broke several things. Safe Ship movers are another story which I will review on another post . Stay away from this company it is not worth it. Use the larger companies if you want a safe moving experience that follows through with their commitments. This one did not in every way horrible experience

Worst scammer ever

This is the only platform I seen that I could leave a review. I did not use homeadvisor but I did use Ciao Bella Moving. My rep was April, She was sweet from the start and had me laughing on the phone. I had a local move with a 2 bedroom. I had never used a moving company before but did a ton of research before. My move cost was exactly what was quoted and everything was smooth. They even wrapped up my furniture for a local move.

I pulled out with my original moving company because they added on to my original quoted price and not by a little bit. Ciao Bella was 2nd on my list so I gave them a call. They came next day to pick me up without hesitation. They were also under what they originally quoted which was cool.

The only good thing I can say is they showed up to pick up my items on time. They said 7-10 days to move it, bit it was almost a month before they actually delivered. The foreman refused to take some of my items and I was forced to leave some behind. He said I took up 900 cu ft and there wasn't room. However, the movers delivered my stuff in a 15ft uhaul that wasn't even full, which is only 764 cu ft. I am also missing 9 boxes and a piano bench, as well as having tons of my items damaged or missing parts from the movers disassembly. My son's piano was destroyed and has a shoe print on the bottom of it. The foreman didn't communicate unless I hounded him for updates on a schedule and I was lied to repeatedly in emails and texts. The movers didn't give appropriate notice as stated in the contract about a delivery day or time and ended up showing up after 8pm on my actual delivery day.

Contacted Captain Van lines and Ciao Bella showed up to move us. Worst movers ever. Over the phone I was told all of my things would fit in the truck no problem. When driver arrived, he said they would not. He also complained about certain pieces of furniture that could not be taken apart. I was moving out of state as soon as our things were loaded, so I had no way of fixing this issue & was forced to leave many of my belongings at the side of the road. I also ended up paying more than double what was quoted. when my things arrived, there was so much damage. Boxes were smashed and torn open. Even boxed that clearly stated fragile and please be careful. My solid wood table was hit so hard with stuff it took chunks out. My sons bike, badly scratched and it was brand new. Daughters computer had a hole through the box and something hit the screen. There was also something of mine that was rolling around loose in the truck even though it was in a well packed box. I would have been better off moving with only my clothes in the car and buying all new things after moving. What a waste of over $4,000!!! I have been getting the run around to make a claim to be compensated for what they damaged/destroyed. Driver treated our belongings like they were trash that did not belong to someone and was not worth anything! Stay far away from this company. Unless you want your stuff destroyed

I was picked up in CA and moved to Texas. Over all the process went smooth. Ciao Bella did a straight delivery to where we didn't have to wait for our things for more than a few days.

He know what he is doing, he works with you, he did not try to up sale me. They made it an easy transition.
