C & J Fencing

Very disappointed in C&J Fencing. My neighbor and I agreed to a slopped panel at the corner of our yard where the yard slopes. Ryan had his crew slope the entire fence across the backyard. My previous fence was straight. I asked him to come out and take a look and he told me to send pictures. I sent him pictures and then he blamed me and my neighbor saying we asked for a slanted fence. NOT TRUE. Both my neighbor and I only agreed to slope the last panel. I asked Ryan to please be sure that the street side fence would be straight and he assured me it would. I also told him in an earlier conversation that I did not want any step ups or downs. When the street side fence was finished, there was a step up and the rest of the fence was built on the slope below my yard and basically acts as a retaining wall. They could have easily added another layer of the treated wood or build it on the flat part of the yard to have the fence the same height as the other two sides. Be warned.

The crew was on time and worked efficiently. the fence looks fine. If it looks this good next year or the year after, C and J will be our fence builder.

In general. diid a very good job. However, started the project a little late (9:30 am) which resulted in a slight rush to finish (about 6:00 pm) which resulted in a rush to finish and leaving some clean-up work undone. Also, installed one post less than planned.

The work was completed in a timely manner and cleanup was done before they left.

They did what they said they would do and the fence looks great!

From the beginning C & J are professional. Ed who estimated the job who by the way was 1/2 the price of the other 9 contractors I received estimates from. Crystal who scheduled the job was kind and patient while I waited on my association approval.
