Highly recommend WJ Contracting for roofing/gutter/downspout service. We recently purchased a flat-roofed townhouse whose sole downspout from the roof routed internally and was leaking inside the house. Rather than having the internal pipe/set-up repaired, we decided to have a new completely external downspout installed and routed around to the front of the house. After an initial free consultation a few days earlier, Charlie was able to do the work in an afternoon. He was punctual, had all necessary materials, and he made sure to get brown piping so it would match the natural brick exterior of the house. He was kind, communicative, and a pleasure to work with. I have been putting off repairing my roof that started leaking in July. After saving up for a couple of months, the weather was so dry that I forgot it was a problem, but then it rained last week and I was sorely reminded of the leak that I had neglected to fix. Biting the bullet, I called Charlie on the recommendation of my neighbor. He came out that same day, figured out the problem and assured me that I was was not well past it is expiration point as another company had told me (It was only put on in 2010 so that seemed fishy), and then fixed the leak while he was on site. I cannot recommend this young man high enough. Thank you WJ Contracting.

I got connected with this company after seeing them on my block in capital hill. They came to my house and gave me an estimate while explaining everything they were going to do. After the work was finished I asked if I could go up on the roof and look at it before paying them, they agreed and even helped me set up the step ladder in the hallway to access the roof through the hatch. After inspecting the roof I told them I was very happy with the work and promised to leave a good review. They kept their word so Iâ m keeping mine. Hire this company, you wonâ t regret it.
