Michael did not have a license to do the work he was supposed to do, and it is illegal in NC for unlicensed person todo a job over $30,000 for a rental property.. He did not get the permits he needed, and 2 licensed contractors and the health department told us the work was not up to code, . Since so much has to be redone, we did not want him to do any more. We had paid him $32,150.00, and these licensed contractors are saying it will cost about $25-30,000 to re-do it. We have been working on getting the permits and checking out things he was supposed to have checked out since September 24, and it is just sitting there uninhabitable for almost a month while we are losing about $1000 a month until we can get it rented.

C&J had plenty of help to get the job done. They work clean and are very polite. The job was completely finished in a day and a half. I feel that I won t have to worry about my roof leaking for many years to come. I felt the cost to be very reasonable
