Landscape Yard or Garden Installation
The landscaping project started as a request to stop water coming to the basement through the window well. THis was clearly mentioned before the work was initiated. The first charge was $1300 to do it. It was performed but the water still came into the basement. I was asked to pay another $200 which I did and the water still keeps coming in. A window well cover was to be fitted , but never completed. I have spent $1500 for stopping the water coming through the window well, but have nothing to show for. Next rainy season I am back where I waswith the water problem in the basement. Even as a landscaping project, they should have done a better job --- hardly were the landscaping rocks/pepples put in place, the weeds started growing and have been growing ever since. For this basement water project , I should have gone with another professional. I Thought this business knew what they were doing.. Bad choice on my part--- a hard lesson to learn after $1500 expenses. If they knew they couldn't control the water problem, they should have opted out. I could have asked someone else.
