I finally got around to getting the water line hooked up to my fridge so I could take advantage of the filtration system for dispensing cold water. During the visit, Tim (who was awesome to work with) did a routine inspection of the plumbing and let me know that it's in great shape (good for peace of mind), Through this process he needed to look at the main upstairs bathroom which I have been wanting to replace the toilet for years as it was older and the caulk around the base had come loose years ago, so it was a bit of an eyesore. He mentioned that if I would like, he could get a quote for a new model comfort height toilet (something I've been needing since I am quite tall) and the price quoted for the entire project (fridge and toilet replacement) was excellent so I am finally getting that replaced as well! Excellent company to work with.

Drain Clog or Blockage Clearing
In snaking my drain the contractor broke a pvc connection in my ceiling which caused a leak. The leak broke through the ceiling in my family room and leaked water on my leather chair and floor. The repair was made, but the hole in my ceiling remains. Management refuses to fix the hole.

"Thank you for your review. I apologize that you feel we have done something wrong. We arrived at your home and quoted you to snake 2 tub drains for $X's which you agreed. We completed the work on the first tub without incident but when the second tub was snaked a piece of your drain failed which caused the leak. It was explained to you that we are not responsible for your pipes especially when drain cleaning chemicals have been used. We saw a bottle of chemicals next to one of the drains we worked on so we know they have been used to try to clear your drain issue. It was explained to you that a snake will not harm pipes that are in good condition. Obviously one of your drains was in good condition and one was not. We did not charge you for the repair to the pipe or snaking of the second drain. We have been fair with you with regards to this job and complied with our companies policy with regards to projects like this job. Please feel free to contact if you have any other questions."

aIn May of this year, I was referred to C Lee Plumbing Services by Home Builder. I contacted them because water was overflowing from my 2nd Floor to my 1st Floor. Someone came out on May 28th and informed me that my branch line was clogged. I was charged 285.64 to clear this line in my basement. Once this service was provided I was told that there is a 1-year guarantee on service provided. Earlier this week I contacted C Lee Plumbing Services again because I could see that this line was clogged again and I requested that someone come out and unclog the same branch drain as before. On 12.11.19 Taylor Lee came out , looked at the problem and stated that the branch drain was not the issue. He continued to state the issue was actually from the Main Drain and quoted 415.00 to clear the main drain. I declined the service and paid 59.00 for the service call. Taking this information I shopped around and found another Plumbing company to clear the main line because this is what Taylor Lee from C Lee Plumbing Services stated was needed. I contacted Sals Heating and Cooling to clear my main drain line. Sals Heating and Cooling sent some one out the next day. After snaking the main line drain they informed me that this was not the issue. They then proceed to investigate the issue more an found that the issue was the branch drain ( that should have been covered by my one year guarantee from C Lee Plumbing Services) and not the main drain. Sals Heating and Cooling promptly cleared the branch line and provided an invoice that said, **Snaked the main sewer ran snake all the way out. Still holding after in the floor sink. Found secondary cleanout located in addition. Snaked from there as well and opened up the sewer. Recommended to the customer if problem continues to snake and camera. At this point seems to be soft blockage. Maybe at wye** I sent this information to C Lee Plumbing Services and was told that Sals Heating and Cooling did not perform the Services that they stated on the invoice that they did. I was told by the Office Manager that I was being dishonest and was told that they would need someone from Sals Heating and Cooling needed to call them. I do not know why this came up. I am not sure if it was because of a personal physical discrepancy or what. They would not call the other company. I called Sals Heating and Cooling, and they stated that as a policy they do not call other plumbing companies but agreed that they put what happened on the invoice. In summary my issue is that over the last two days 371.12 in funds have been allocated to a service from Sals Heating and Cooling that I was told was guaranteed for one year at no additional charge by C Lee Plumbing Services.

"Thank you for your review and we appreciate your feedback. I apologize for any confusion in this matter. We did snake a branch line for you on the date on May 28, 2019, for $285.64 and gave a 1-year warranty. However when you called on December 11, 2019, it was determined that your main sewer was blocked not the branch line that was snaked 6 1/2 months prior. This determination was made when a fixture used elsewhere in the home backed up as well as the utility tub, indicating the main blockage. We informed you of the difference in the job and gave a price to snake the main drain. You declined that service stating you would rent a machine from Home Depot and handle the job yourself. You hired another company to snake your main drain which they verified was the issue and that resolved the blockage, however, there was still water in the branch line. They did not charge you additional money to snake the branch line and indicated that there was a soft blockage at the wye. If they had charged for the branch line clearing, we would have addressed our warranty then. When the main drain blocks it is possible for waste to lay in the pipe causing blockages in other parts of the system because the waste has no flow to carry it down the pipe. This is what happened to you. Your main drain blockage is what caused the blockages in other parts of your system. Hence the main drain was the issue and not the branch line that was originally snaked. Our warranty covers only the drain that was snaked, it does not cover every drain in your home. I have reviewed all of the communications between my staff and you and determined that our policies were followed correctly and we made no errors in this case. We will honor the warranty on your branch line should that be a problem. Again I apologize for any confusion regarding this matter. Thank you again for your business."

They installed my new furnace and a/c as a priority. They worked hard to update wiring for the new equipment and everything is working very well.
