CMC Contractors

Due to improper initial installation of my metal roof (not this contractor) snow drifts tore off some of the metal sheets. I needed 2 things: someone to do an immediate repair so there was no danger, and then to have the roof installed properly so this didn't happen again. This was going to be a large job, my insurance was involved, and Al, the owner of CMC, met the insurance adjuster and myself for the work. Al did the initial work and promised to email the photos of the other damage that needed to be fixed to my insurance company and cc me, all within 24 hours. A week later and after several messages that were not returned, I got a hold of Al who said he emailed them but he'll do it again. I relayed this to my adjuster who had the company IT guy look into it and said the message was not in spam/junk, not was there a message in their server from Al's email address. Insurance companies are very careful about this stuff. He never sent it. He never sent it a second time, either. Another week of many phone calls and texts with no response, continuing to pursue him only because he had the pics we needed. Nothing. Then one day he answered. Apparently there was a death in his family. He said it was all taken care of and he was back on track. Another week and many phone calls/texts later, I've heard nothing. As I search for another contractor, I still haven't heard from him. He is very nice in person, and my insurance adjuster and I thought he was honest, but he's just another scammer. Took my money for the initial work and ran.

Lack of communication, I received no detailed receipt of work. I was unaware that if I paid a certain amount it would need to be reported to IRS. Repairs to stairs were completed but not to my expectations. Sink was also to be repaired, but is still leaking.

We needed a section of pipe replaced. Fast work, Neat, cleaned up afterward

They installed 2 outside faucets, replaced an outside door and replaced some screening. They did a beautiful job and were very pleasant and efficient.

These guys are friendly and very easy to work with overall. This began as fixing a leak from the shower which was caused by a previous contractor who put screws into a pipe. Since we planned to replace the shower we decide to do it while fixing the leak and this required quick work since we only have a single bathroom. There were a couple of unforeseen circumstances during the install that CMC immediately resolved. Our bathroom looks FANTASTIC with the new shower and we are extremely happy with the work. Not only did they finish the job in less than a week they did it over Christmas and even came on Christmas eve to ensure the project was done fast. These guys were very professional the entire time and were happy to meet and exceed all of our requests. I would definitely recommend them and already have a number of projects planned for them in the future. An important note is that unlike other contractors they didn't destroy the old shower during removal. They were sure to keep it in good shape and made sure all the pieces were there which will save us from buying another shower when we have them build the second bath. In summary they did the job quickly, withing the quoted price, were extremely pleasant throughout and there work is EXCELLENT.

They were aware of the special challenges that older house plumbing failures when it comes to keeping costs under control.

l contractor did a poor job. alot of tape still showing. corners and ceiling seams very poor. closet area not sanded well and lots of tape showing. the clean up was bad and they never brought drop cloths to cover the hardwood floors that they had to cross over going in and out.,the english was poor and 2 of them didnt speek english at all. would not hire again even though they said they would come back and fix problems they didnt.

The only negative was they were late but I got over that when they stayed late in order to get the job done the right way. They could have cut corners but they did not! They were very friendly and gave us some advice on what we should do in order to prevent pipes from freezing again. They gave us advice on other things we should do because we have never owned a mobile home before. We will definitely use their service again if need be.

Yes they showed up on time. But after that it went down hill. They refused to listen to me, a FEMALE, about how to get into the well. But they did listen to my brother, who told them the exact same thing! Then they refused to install a certain part that we had wanted put in. Nope, not good P.R. Then it takes them two days to figure out, & fix what the problem is. First day to access the problem, second to come back w/ a different crew to fix the problem. They should be prepared to work, fix the issue the first trip out the house. They were paid $350 for the completed job. Two days later, the same issue happened again that they supposedly fixed. My brother tried priming the pump, no didn't fix it. So we had to call them back. They came back w/ a real attitude problem! Insisting it wasn't the work they did. Then why was it the same thing happening? They only primed the pump, like my brother did. Said that was all it needed. Wrong! They want to be paid another $75! This did not fix the problem. So, no we are recommending these people to anyone. Not a happy customer-

He gave me a really good estimate and i was worried about quality comparing to the price.They was on time as they promise,they finish on time and job that they perform was excellent and my hose is gloving again and its looks like from a photo that i looked in.Honestly i would recommend them to anyone!!!
