CM Landscape Construction

Don't like to do this but would want to know if it was a company you were thinking of using, Mike started out with good intentions, came in with a bid that was fair and seemed knowledgeable and gave us 2 references ( other contractor friends ) We hired him to regrade the outside of out home, install a trench with a retaining stone wall, install a drywall, lay new sod with irrigation and driveway. We were told that it would take 10 days to complete, (the yard is really small) 18 weeks have gone by and we have been at a stand still many times, Mike started excavating and doing partial bits of the project but everything was left uncompleted. Our driveway was left partially torn up, steps aren't finished ( dangerous ) etc. He stopped coming by to manage this project, he sent a guy or two to do the minimal. He also stopped talking to us, we had to text him on a daily basis to reach him, he would tell us today, this week, soon and yet we were pushed to the way back burner. He claimed that he was wrapping up a big project, he told us he had personal issues going on in his life. We were initially very understanding to all this but after months of this, it was beginning to wear us down emotionally and we were tired of trying to beg him to come finish his job asked him " what on earth did we do to him to make hint rest us like this? " I believe in the " golden rule ", Mike and CM Landscape Construction is clearly incapable of this job we hired them to do, we now have to seek elsewhere for everything to be finished. He also owes us money for work that is not completed and we will have to fix a lot of things that were done wrong. Live and learn, we made a poor judgement call and hope anyone else looking will read this and go elsewhere.
