The gentleman had to snake all the way to the end of my pipe! But he got the drain unclogged and even gave me a few tips to keep it clog free.

Ricky was great, even showed up early. Very pleasant, professional. Fixed problem. Only negative was it was quite pricey, but I will claim a little ignorance on what current price structure for plumbing services are these days. But I will not hesitate to call them again if I need a plumber again.

Ricky arrived on time. After accessing the situation, he checked with his boss and gained my approval before beginning the project. He worked accurately and quickly and came back the next day when I had an additional project for him to complete. I was exceptionally pleased with his service, and the cost could not have been any better. I would most certainly recommend this company as one to trust.

It is sad that I am amazed when companies are honest but I am truly amazed at the honesty of C & M. They sent a technician, Ricky, out the same day that I called because I was convinced that my pipes were leaking behind my wall. It turned out to be remaining water from a leak in my refrigerator the day before (I feel so very stupid) that had seeped behind the walls. Ricky could have invented many expensive repairs but instead he spent an hour making sure that the leftover water theory was correct. And because it was a free estimate C & M did not charge me anything for coming out and identifying the problem. It is so nice to find honest craftsmen in todays world!

The repairman replaced the metal water line with plastic insets that had several connecting joints that could possible fail in the future. I ask questions in reference to quality of the work and did not get a valid reply.
Response by C & M Plumbing & Gas, LLC: The pipe and fittings that were used to repair the leak at this property were Uponor. That is currently the most advanced pipe on the market, and at times, it is even hard to locate due to its high demand by all plumbers that care about what they are using. Uponor is, by far, a more durable pipe than the copper and the PVC that were already in place, which were in need of the repair. We were called to repair a leak on the (Copper) main water service. Once the tech was able to uncover the leak enough to see the whole problem, it was discovered that the leak was on a transition fitting that supplied the irrigation system (PVC) and was fed from the main (Copper) water service line that passed behind the bushes. There was also a (Copper) branch line to the front hose bib that had to be replaced due to the poor quality of the existing plumbing and the close proximity to the main repair that was needed. A decision was made to use transition fittings at each branch that required repair, and then to reconnect all of the piping using the Uponor to allow more durability and flexibility to , hopefully, prevent this issue from reoccurring in the future (for the benefit of the customer). The customer was charged only $480.00 Total for the work performed, which was quoted and agreed to before the job was started. The technician spent almost 8 hours completing the job (Double the amount of time quoted). The extra time was due to: unforeseen problems with the existing plumbing, the space in the work area behind the bushes, having to leave and pickup non truck stock items (Which were unknown before the area was excavated) and having to wait for the PVC transition fitting to properly dry before testing the water. All of this was unaccounted for in the original estimate, and the work was completed at no extra charge to the customer. Our office has yet to receive any calls from this customer in reference to this complaint. So, there could have been explanation given, if one was requested. Also, this repair was made at the end of August. It is now the beginning of October, and there have been no calls received at our office about a leak in the area of the repair. To say that fittings that could fail were used is completely hypothetical at this point. At C & M Plumbing and Gas, we strive for the happiness of our customers. Which is proven by the majority of our reviews. There will always be customers that are never happy, even if you go above and beyond to please them. We will continue to take pride in our work and to provide great customer service in the future.
