CMR Construction & Roofing, LLC

This is a dishonest company that tries to submit inflated prices to your insurance company and force you to litigate the claim to get it paid by insurance. Customer services is horrible (we have dealt with over 10 different individuals in 2 years) and your lucky if they will call you back. Their prices are very high compared to other companies and if they do show up to work they can't even do that right. When you try to fire them for non-performance they threaten you with their attorney and want you to pay a 25% cancellation fee. They are rude and dishonest people and I would recommend you stay as far away from this company as possible.

They are scam artists. BBB has revoked them. They did our house in Fort Myers and there were more roof tiles broken on the newly installed roof than the one they replaced. Look at yelp and neighborhood app reviews.

Con Artists. Scammers. Took the cash and the insurance money from 11 elderly and disabled homeowners then disappeared. Seven months after handing over and $100,000 and 12 months after Ian and no response from CMR. Rain coming through roof and mold growing and crickets from them! Attorney contracted yesterday. Reports to Florida Attorney General and complaints to the Elderly and Disabled Abuse Hotline for exploitation of elderly persons. They are scam artists and horrible. Be afraid!

If this company rings your doorbell and solicits you for the contract to replace your roof, LOCK your door and order them off your property. This is the sorriest excuse for a company I have ever seen. They agreed to do my roof over a year ago and ripped my roof apart and took my gutters down over 6 months ago, and have not come back to finish my roof since. They do not answer their phones, they use an answering service, and will not return your calls. I have filed a complaint with the BBB however in its response it lies and makes false statements. That complaint is still open. I have also filed a complaint with Florida DPBR as well as Palm Beach County PZB Investigations Department. I am hoping that these complaints will move this company to complete the job they started a year ago.

My experience with Travis Franklin of CMR has been outstanding from day one. He has handled every aspect of our roof including guidance through the claim process with hands on assistance. With a team of nearly 20 men CMR completed our first phase demolition and weather proofing of nearly 4,000 square feet in one day. Hats off to his hard working crew for a job well done thus far! I have and will continue to recommend CMR to all of neighbors and friends. From a customer standpoint I truly couldn t ask for a better experience.
