CNJ's Roofing

We hired Jason in January of 2024 to install a standing seam roof, we were under contract with what we thought was a legitimate business. Fast forward to May 2024 they delivered materials (which he needed an advance on because he has no money) we obligied. It took him and his team of unprofessional CRIMINALS from June-September to install what was guaranteed to be a 'PERFECT INSTALL ' as stated in the contract. We have had issues since installation that he has not made right. We now have multiple leaks in our house and have been told by two other roofing contractors that our roof is a total loss. We just spent 30k on the roof and installation last year and now have to turn around and try to fix what he and his team destroyed. He would purposely not work when my husband was in town and had every excuse in the book. He showed up at weird hours begging for advances so that he could get materials, gas and so much more. He is a CROOK, PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM HIS BUSINESS!

Very good job from pricing to completion of installing our new roof. Kept us informed through the entire process. Price was lower than the other company we contacted and work was completed in a timely manner.

Military veteran and I hired them to do a metal roof install on a porch. I paid them upfront my mistake and over 2 months later no work has been done. I requested a refund and I got nothing but silence for 2 weeks. Then after I posted the first bad review I got an unprofessional text message from Jason Shafer within an hour. He is still not agreeing to refund my money. Please tell your friends not to hire this company.

This company is a rip off I had to pay up front because he didn't have enough money to buy material or pay for his help. In my opinion they did not know what they were doing. Neighbors said his employees were partying in the house at night. I have pictures. My new gutter he installed leaks. Missing ridge cap on roof. No pipt to vent gas hot water heater. Metal was short in the valley. Roof leaks. Used caulk to fill in some areas. Had missing screws in roof. Did not use tape around ceiling. Made a hole in wall and did not patch. These are just a few of what he did. Did they do anything correctly, in my onion no

I had to pay for the materal before they would start, but wanted to deal in cash or cash app. Told me it would be a 1 day job, but it took 3 days, because they didn't get enough metal. I had also hired them to remove 2 trees as well and he dropped one of them on my neighor's house. Promised to get it fixed the next day, but it took several days of phone calls, text and with holding payment to get it done. it also took 5 days to get the trees cleaned up. They never showed up when they said they were going to and changed the price after the job was done. Most of the Trim was dented and he said it would be fixed but never did.

Allstate wanted to do pay for a patchwork repair that would have looked terrible. I contacted CNJS Roooofing and Jason was prompt and thorough. With his knowledge and guidance I was able to get a full metal replacement. I've worked with many contractors in the past as a Realtor and few would have gone the extra mile as Jason did. The important thing in choosing a contractor is to understand what's reasonable in your situation and if you're not knowledgeable, get help.

In my opion beware. Check to see if he is a LLC. My mistake. In my opion Jason Shafer is the worst roofer in the roofing business. He does not stand behind his work or word in my opion

In my opinion stay away from them beware. In my opinion they do not do quality work and not reliable. If I could post pictures in my opinion you would be shocked at the quality of this work. Very poor job2707355103

Jason did an excellent job on my roof and rain gutters. I would highy rcommend him to anyone that needs work done! My home looks awesome! You know what I mean???

Jason had an excellent price, and good communication - changes in the weather led to some issues with being able to complete the project in consecutive days, but Jason made sure the roof was protected and would not experience any issues before the project could be completed. There was some shingle grit left to be cleaned off of my deck, but that was the only real issue.

I live in a country setting and wanted to go with a metal solution when reroofing my 45 year old home. I was very satisfied with the craftsmenship and expertise the CnJ roofing team brought to the job. Flashing and other detail trim work was excellent. CnJ obtained the materials and performed the work PRIOR to requesting any payment - I thought this was a very positive and telling indication that I was dealing with a trustworthy company. My roof was moderately sized at about 27 square - CnJ handled the complete re-roof. I would recommend CnJ to others without question.

Outstanding experience! Out of 5 roof estimates, CNJ was the ONLY one who actually got on my roof to give me an accurate estimate. The others were way over and recommended things I did not even need! Jason and his crew are courteous, professional and probably the hardest workers I've known. I'll be calling them back when it is time to re-roof my two detached garages. I would give anything if all home improvement professionals were as great to work with as CNJ!! Highly recommend them!

Jason was very thorough, very personable, very competitive and an all around great guy. He gave me huge amounts of information to help me make a great decision. I was very satisfied with his professionalism and the work. He even answered my call on sunday when he was on the river with his family. I appreciate that dedication. Only thing I had an issue with was I had hoped he would have taken my subtle hint and painted the the lead boots even though he ran out of paint. I had a great price so I can't completely knock him for that.. I would highly recommend his team. They were very quick to get the job done..
