SCAM!!! Their George Walker quoted me $700 HomeAdvisor to replace all rotten wood in my soffit, patch, caulk, put in flashing, and paint. He did not take a check and said, "Cash makes a World of a difference because of workman's comp." He said he was 40 % owner. I was suspicious of a CASH deal but gave in. Then they called me that I have to pay more, but I refused, so George texted me, "Don't worry, miscommunication..." Only then I read bad Google, HomeAdvisor, and BBB reviews about them, but it was too late. I caught them trying to put a piece of plywood on top of existing rotten plywood and leave all old fascia and framework. I stopped them and made them open the soffit and see inside. From that moment only George's oldest brother, Tony, "worked" on the soffit and demanded $500 more, and I had no other choice with my soffit ripped apart and exposed to the rain. Later I found out that Tony never told the owner about this additional $500, so the boss sent him to other places, and Tony never finished my soffit, and they all, incl. the owner, kept lying to me. Tony always showed up with another person (an older lady or a young guy) who just waited there for him. Now I know why they all never drive alone, but this and their other dark secrets are outside of this soffit story. After a week of open soffit exposed to the rain, delays, broken promises, and unreturned calls and text messages, I went on several websites on Sunday and sent requests to CR Ebert in order to find them. The owner, Clark Bob Ebert, immediately called me around 7 a.m. and lectured me, "You are acting like a child jumping up and down all over the internet!" I offered to meet and show him the photos and many other facts I found during my research, but he categorically refused to talk with me, so I realized that he knew everything. The saga lasted for 3 weeks with Tony and the owner, Bob Ebert, promising to finish every day but either not showing up or showing up late for a couple of hours and then disappearing. Later on Bob admitted that George told him that he charged me $500; that meant that he was stealing from him too. Bob Ebert never apologized and rudely replied to my text questions, "Are you done? You done, you done?" (sorry, the roofer's spelling). Tony installed 2 sheets of plywood with open gap between them, screwed the screws in the unsupported plywood/air, so they came out. He never replaced the Tyvek wrap (moisture barrier) that he cut out inside the soffit. The work was sloppy, unprofessional, and they never finished it. We could not take it anymore, so I fired them and found someone who finally completed the job. GOOGLE REVIEWS about this place were terrible until a few months ago when, all of a sudden, several new 5-star 1-line reviews popped up within a short time, beginning with "Rick Rieser", but check out the names, and you will realize that they must be either fake or their own people. WE FELL VICTIMS TO A SCAM AND FRAUD. Now I will post
