About us

I incorporated Crystal Clear Pools in 1986 at age 17. With one truck and a handful of customers, I focused on personal service and attention to detail. Years later, together with my wife Jeril, I took my small business out of my home and with a lot of hard work, slowly built it to where I now service Rockland, Bergen and Orange Counties. Keeping up with the latest innovations in the industry my company has grown dramatically over the years, encompassing a fleet of 24 service vehicles with highly trained factory technicians ready to service you on a moments notice. With our amazing office staff we are always there to give you, the client, personal attention, support, dedication and commitment. Do not use Crystal Clear Pools! I was initially attracted to Crystal Clear Pools because of their low starting price of $89 for a service fee. However, I soon realized that this was just a bait-and-switch tactic. After I signed the contract, they told me that I would also need to pay for chemicals. I agreed to this, but then they came back and charged me an additional $714 for phosphate treatment without my knowledge. When I asked for a detailed receipt, they refused to provide one. They also refused to tell me the pricing for the chemicals. In addition to the phosphate treatment, they also charged me $940 for vacuuming and $207 for a service that they did not touch anything. I believe that Crystal Clear Pools is a shady company that is taking advantage of people. They lure you in with a low price, but then they hit you with hidden fees and charges. I urge you to stay away from Crystal Clear Pools and save your hard-earned money
