CS Asphalt Paving

CS had a very fair price. The weather did not work in our favor and the sealer washed off in many areas. CS came back and resealed at no charge, however. It was a little tough getting in touch with them, but again, they have no control over Mother Nature. I would recommend this company to others.

I had some issues with the mix used for the project. After some time, they came out and applied hot tar. They promised to re-examine the look of the work in a few weeks.

Consumers, be aware! I spent thousands of dollars and got a crappy driveway!!! They were persistent and responsive in the beginning but after they received my payment, that went out the window! They also offered a 3 yr warranty but their work didn’t even last a week!!! I have 3 cars with a single long driveway. I wanted to widen so I can park 2 cars on one side and one on the other. They partially replaced the current driveway and laid out a new foundation next to the existing one. They didn’t properly prep the new foundation so the asphalt was sinking where my truck was parked! Pieces of the asphalt was also coming apart everywhere! They claimed it was due to a bad batch of asphalt? After numerous calls to setup an appointment, they finally came back and laid down additional layer of asphalt. Well, that still didn’t solve the problem! It only raised my driveway! The asphalt is still coming apart everywhere (especially by the entrance and the edges) and it’s still sinking underneath my truck’s tires!! When I called back, the receptionist asked me to send her some pictures so she can show them to the owner and figure out what they can do. I sent numerous pictures and followed up multiple times. Its been almost 3 weeks now and I still haven’t heard back from them! I have now filed a formal complaint through The HomeAdvisor. I wish there was an option to attach pictures so I can show their poor workmanship! My experience has been a nightmare with this company!

Seems that I will never learn! Do not pay the full amount due until work is completely finished!! These are very nice people, but that doesn't get my driveway finished! They promised to come back the next day and finish, but did not. Will not return calls. Work still not finished a week later. Who knows if they will ever return.

They were great! Courteous, cleaned up, hard working. I highly recommend them.

The additional hot tar treatment ($600) should have been mentioned when I was given the quote instead of being an afterthought upsell, so I took off one star for customer service. But they gave me an estimate I considered fair in the morning and by 5 pm the SAME DAY, I had a brand new driveway. So it couldn't possibly have been done any quicker.

The representative from C & S Paving came to me the day after I called for an estimate. He gave me an estimate for my residential driveway addition and sealing project. The estimate was reasonable, and he said that his crew could complete the work the following day. So, I hired him. The crew was prompt, polite, respectful, hard working, and they did an excellent job! I highly recommend this company!
