We hired Carlos and CTA to replace a small area of concrete driveway outside our garage. Carlos responded to the initial email quickly and came out the next day to give me a quote. His quote came in at a very fair price, so we decided to move forward. Carlos said it would take 3 days to complete the job. We shook hands and he left. Day 1- Carlos sends me a text stating that He would be at the house by 8am. By 1PM he still had not shown up or been in contact with me. at around 4PM i get a call from the neighbors. Carlos had lost control of his truck and it crashed down my driveway into our neighbor's truck. The concrete was torn up and left in a pile in front of the house. He did not call me or communicate at all and he left. When I called him to ask what happened, he assured me that there was no damage to my house, driveway etc He said he would be back early the next day to get started on work again. When I got home to inspect, there was damage to my driveway and trash left around the work area. Day 2- I let Carlos know that I had to leave home by 10:15. He shows up at 10:20 as I'm leaving and he says that he'll get to work and that I need to pay him 50%. We agree that I would be home by 4:30 to give him the check. When I get back to the house at 4:30, nothing was done at the house and Carlos was no where to be found. I called him and he gave me some excuse about the time it takes to travel etc. I ask him to be more clear with me about what is happening and how the job will continue. He agrees and I give him the check and we agree to a timeline. He says he'll be back early to do the work he was supposed to do this day. He said that he will remove the concrete tomorrow and will pour the concrete the next day. Day 3- 10am I text Carlos and ask what the plan is. He responds by saying that he needed to get another truck and a skitter. His exact text: "i'll take the skitter already, I'm going the way. I'll get the job done dont worry the skit steep is on its way" He shows up at 3PM. and removes the concrete. Day 4- No work is done and no communication. He deposits the check. I text him at night stating that I was expecting him to show up and i inquired about what the plan was. He responds by text saying "your driveway is not 4" as you had said. I did my estimate based on that. When i took the concrete out it like "10", 8" and 6" deep. I paid per pound to dump the concrete. Now it need to be filled and level with more dirt or its going to take more concrete. I cant do all of this for the price on my estimate. It's more work and expenses than if it was my regular 4" driveway. My expenses are already higher than what you gave me. Plus you're pressuring me and want me to be there first thing in the morning. I have other customers too". Let me start by saying that it is completely acceptable for him to increase his estimate if there was more concrete than expected. Carlos called me literally five minutes after I put in a request for contractors to call me. I told him we had to wait for the landscapers to remove a bush and move some rocks over so that the area would be cleared for the job. He said he could help with that. They did much more than help! They did the extra job of removing the bush and moving the rocks for a nominal price so that they could start my job. The price for the driveway was very fair! They are very fast, hard and efficient workers.

I"m glad I picked CTA. They had the best price and worked with me to do just what I wanted. They are very friendly and efficient. Highly recommend them.

Hiram, who represented CTA on my difficult foundation repair job, was very honest, prompt and qualified to take on my job. If you want a qualified person to give you a fair price with the quality you need, then I recommend you give them a call.

Nice guys, work fast and reasonable. Was very satisfied with work however they had to move a huge boulder to do the job and never moved it back which has become a problem.

He did what he said he would, when he said and for less money than my alternatives. Hiram and his crew were quite delightful to be around. They installed a concrete driveway. He also provided evidence of insurance without difficulty.

Overall they are genuinely good people.

CTA was great to work with. Our concrete floor turned out fantastic. We have more concrete working coming up soon and I will definitely be using CTA again.
