I received an estimate and called to schedule the work. C&T Lawn Care was able to schedule me more quickly than I had expected. The 2-man team showed up as scheduled and worked for a solid 2 hours! My lawn and flower beds looked good. I am waiting now to see how the weed treatment will work...I am satisfied and will use C&T again.

The proposal spelled out exactly what would be done, and the estimate was quite reasonable. I did find it necessary to monitor the progress to make sure the work was being done to my specifications. The owner,Tim, was very cooperative, and addressed any concerns that I had.He came out to the site to make sure that I was satisfied with the job. I would not hesitate to consider them for any future work.

Landscape - Minor Grading or Resloping
Tim Groenewold did perform the first part of his contract with us very well. Part of the large job entailed his resodding our front yard and seeding the back. We followed his print-out instruction sheet. The front took, the back did not, mainly because the hay was too thick in many parts of the yard. He was aware of this. When he came to redo another aspect of the job -- which he did well -- I asked that he redo the seeding in the back yard. We never saw any evidence that he did. He then charged us for the reseeding. He never alerted us at the outset that this refixing of the back yard would be charged and, again, we have no evidence that he indeed did the rework. He has forwarded his complaint to collections. We want everyone to know that this is unwarranted and we would NOT recommend this guy -- not to anyone. I've tried to speak with him on the matter and he won't budge. We still have a ratty, unfinished back yard.

Although they responded quickly, the overall work completed was only fair. Typically, aeration is done from several angles. C&T appear to have only gone over the lawn in one direction, missing some areas completely.

"The tines on our Aerator are closer than most so we do not have to go over it more than once to get the recommended holes per square foot. The only areas that looked missed where near trees that we could not penetrate the roots."
