I hired Cheryl Wright for a new construction in North Charleston. She was difficult to work with from the very beginning. She has a horrible attitude. She does not consult with you before she installs materials. The materials are usually the cheapest that she can find. The workers are NOT skilled construction workers. They improperly install mechanical, electrical and plumbing, The bad work has resulted in months of delays and thousands of dollars n materials and repairs. She has been in business for 15 years and is still a horrible contractor. She does shoddy work and very unprofessional. When you get fed up with her attitude and fire her she puts a lien on your property for work that she did not do. I currently have a lien filed by Cheryl Wright on my property for $42,910 after already paid her $55,000. She has obviously done this before. She tries to intimidate and bully you to pay her work that she did not do correctly. She is not a good contractor so I do not recommend anyone hire her. this company keens on elderly people, they placed a roof on my elderly mothers home. Instead of putting on a roof with real wood they used particle wood. within 10 years the roof started leaking. make sure that she gives you a certificate of insurance before you give her your final payment, because she will tell you that and she will never bring it to you. Her warranty, she will give you the run around. If she is an established business for 10 years. she should ask for a deposit , not for you to buy the supplies to start and along the way continue to ask for more money to continue the work. she is a very dishonest person, Beware. the reviews that is on this page are probably people she ask to write these reviews for her. Once she gets your money and you began to call her after the work is done she will give you the run around. Also her worker will ask you for money beside the quote that she gave you .they would say that they found that other thing are wrong to get money from you. only speak with her. Also go through the license and board to make sure her license is active. do not see an active license. she will not answer you. Her worker are people off the street . Check everything piece of supply that she brings in and make sure that the are the real thing and not the cheap version of what should go up. my mother have had this roof for ten years and even the insurance adjuster said that this roof looks like a 30 year roof and the wood is particle wood. BEWARE. Fine someone else or you would regret later on. Because you can not see what you got on the roof, until later on.

It was great working with Cheryl and Michael. They both were very professional and responsive to what needed to be done at my house. Michael came back a few days later to recheck the plumbing work. He took the time to walk me through the finished job and explain what was done. I look forward to working with them again.
