We worked with Ian, with Cairn Roofing, about a month ago. He was amazing. From the beginning we knew we wanted to work with Ian. In the end, we found out that he goes above and beyond. Ianâ  s personality and ability to connect with people was way above par. We obtained several quotes, from several different roofing companies, and all of them quoted us really close to the same dollar amount. Since this was the case, it really boiled down to what we were able to choose from, what we could afford, and the way we were treated. Being we had lived in our house for only four years, and having zero knowledge of how the roofing industry works, Ian walked us through everything, but at the same time, he did not treat us as if we were stupid. He did explain to us every step of the process, and what things we should expect to happen, and when they would happen. Ian arrived at our house, along with an 8 man crew, the demo then installation of our roof started at about 8 in the morning and was completely finished as if no one was even there by 430 or 5pm. Some of our neighbors went to work, seeing our terrible 20 year old roof and came home seeing our new roof with no evidence that a crew was even on site, other than a yard sign advertisement (still up by the way, and proud of it). When the demo portion was not even fully complete, Ian had found items that were â  not to code", I gave him permission through my insurance to advocate for me, with my insurance and he was able to charge all issues to my insurance instead of us. (depending on your situation, outcomes may vary, but that is beside the point). He very well could have said â  well that sucks" and charged us with everything, but he went above and beyond to work with our insurance and keep this new roof at the cost he quoted us. Ian was incredible to work with and I highly recommend him to be your roofer. Ian, again, thank you SO much for all that you did for us we can not thank you enough. When we finish upgrading the rest of the exterior of our house, we will let you know so you can take GORGEOUS pictures for your portfolio; you deserve it.

Roofing company was great

Ian with Cairn Roofing did a wonderful job. We had the exterior of the house painted and the painters badly damaged the roof shingles while painting the dormers on our old Denver bungalow. Ian was able to replace all damaged shingles in a timely manner - the roof looks great. Through this process, we also found out that our Timberline HD shingle color had been discontinued. Ian procured additional bundles of shingles for us so that we have backups in the event of minor roof damage (Denver hail - ugh). We will continue to work with Ian and Cairn Roofing in the future. Great experience.

I am updating my previous review as the installation had not started at the time. Cairn started the installation this morning. Iâ m very impressed by their punctuality and the care that the workers are using to insure all the waste is collected and that the install went smoothly. Ian was upfront about all the costs and helped me through the materials selection. He made sure that I understood all the terms used and took time to explain anything that was unclear. I am very impressed with his professional knowledge and conduct. Iâ m eager to see the finished results.

I am pleased to have found the best roofing company I could hope for. Ian and his team worked very hard to complete the job. They hardly took time to rest. They were constantly work on one part or another of the roof. The new roof looks great, I could not ask for better. The cleanup was very thorough and nothing was damaged during the installation. A five-star job. I would recommend Cairn Roofing to anyone looking for a quality installation done by professionals.

Ian and Jasmine were professional, transparent, and more helpful than any other company I spoke to. Ian helped me understand what he saw on the roof, the insurance estimate, what I would be expected to cover, and gave me all of my options. Both were easy going, easy to work with, and followed up so I didn't let things fall through the cracks. The work was done quickly and efficiently, and the team even identified a problem that they were able to address (at no charge and with minimal effort). They were careful about my garden and cleaned up carefully. My roof looks great! I would recommend Cairn Roofing to any and everyone!
