I bought a wood burning fireplace insert at a local fireplace store and contracted with them to install the stove and the required chimney pipe. After about 2 weeks of trying to deal with the store's installers, I finally decided that their work was a disaster. I contacted Ryan and explained my problem..He came to my house, looked at the work and agreed it was no good. He gave me a reasonable quote and set a date to fix it. He and his helper came on the assigned day, removed the bad work, installed the correct chimney pipe and assembled the stove in just a few hours time. Ryas is very competent and friendly. I highly recommend him.

Ryan had to come twice to our house to diagnose, order part & install. On time, on budget (very reasonable), even vacuumed before leaving. Answers emails promptly (from his blackberry). He was also recommended by a local fireplace dealer. A great contractor.

Ryan got back to me ASAP and came out to the house within a couple days (and we're a long way from his main territory). He did a good analysis of the problem, and recommended as a first step an inexpensive fix that he felt might alleviate the problem. He executed the fix within days. It would've been easy to not come out so far from home and/or to recommend a more costly approach than he did. I liked his honesty, knowledge, and enthusiasm. Don't know yet if this fix will work, but if not, we'll call him back.

I would definatley recommend Cal-Fyre to others. Ryan provided me with excellent service at a fair price. Once we connected, Ryan was came out, quoted, and completed the job with two visits and in a total of about three hours. Ryan took the initialtive to pick up extra exhaust tubing I needed. He was very professional and clean, even taking the time to put on shoe covers before entering the house. I had a used pellet stove to install and it was hard to find people who even wanted to bid on this. They would be happy to quote you on installation of a new stove (pellet or gas) though.

The representative Cal-Fyre sent to us was very expierenced and went to the source of our problem in short time. Although the part that needed to be replaced was not available at the time, he obtained the part quickly and scheduled another appointment within days. Ryan was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and cooperative. He came on time 9 LITTLE EARLY), and wore booties to keep the house clean, He was very friendly, and explained what he was doing and why. He had to return 3 times because there were multiple problems that were uncovered. He tracked down parts for an older model of gas fireplace. He helped get everything rest up. I strongly recommend Ryan.
