Caldwell Exteriors installed a roof on our house back in 2018 and since then we have had multiple leaks occur; one of which also caused damage to our 5 year old daughters ceiling. We have tried reaching out to the owner Brian multiple times to give him the opportunity to correct his work and on three separate occasions he said he would stop by to look at and fix the issues and never showed up any of those occasions. He told us our roof was under a 30 year GAF warranty; but when we had another contractor come out for a siding estimate he also looked at our roof leaks and showed us all the of the areas of the roof that were not installed properly which voids our roof warranty because the install was not done correctly. The main issue being he did not replace or install any wood sheathing or install any flashing around our chimney which caused the leak into our daughters room. When this was brought up to Brian, without even coming out to check his work, told my husband the bricks of our chimney were leaking and that was the problem; that is not the case. We also found out that the company is not GAF certified even though they are providing a GAF warranty on the roof. The roof Brian and Caldwell Exteriors put on our house is less than 5 years old and now we are in a situation where we have to get and pay for a whole new roof to avoid mold in our childâ s bedroom, attic, and anywhere else that is leaking.

We called Brian of Caldwell Exteriors after our roof sustained wind damage. Brian responded promptly and secured the roof with a tarp. He even took photos so we could see the damage. When it was decided to replace the entire roof, Brian quickly provided an estimate and answered all of our questions. Although the roof required all new plywood, the crew worked late so it was completed the same day! The crew did a great job on the roof and with cleaning up. The roof looks awesome. Brian is honest and a great communicator. I would highly recommend Caldwell Exteriors.

Brian was prompt courteous and addressed all questions that we had. As this is a second home that received storm damage, Brian was able to quickly get out survey the property and make temporary repairs. After some time to discuss among the other owners, we decided that a full replacement was appropriate. Brian was flexible to meet our schedule and the job was finished in one day. The crew were clean, friendly and went about their work. After the job was complete, you could barely notice they were there. Would recommend and use again should the needs warrant

Brian did an an outstanding job on my roof and siding in cape may fixing issues that a previous contractor had created and installing a new roof. Brian and his crew were professional and clearly committed to a high quality result. I would use him again for any future roofing or siding work. I just wished i went to brian from the start as it would have saved a lot of aggravation.

Brian Caldwell was the most expensive quote I got by far. The other companies told me how easy the job would be. They'd be in and out in as short as one day. One of the first things Brian said when he pulled up to my house was, "This is going to take a while, and it will be expensive." The other guys failed to mention that my roof didn't have a single sheet of plywood. It was built in 1910 and was using cedar shake instead. He saw that within seconds of pulling up to the house. Did the other guys just miss that detail he so easily observed? Were they trying to pull a fast one? I chose his company over the others because of his straightforward demeanor and transparency. He may not be the cheapest quote you get, but his company WILL be worth every dollar spent. 5/5 would hire again.

Brian showed up on time, delivered the quotation when promised and was transparent in our dealings. My old roof was removed and a new one installed. The workmanship was high quality and the clean up the best I have ever experienced.
