I would highly recommend Not doing business with Calenti Homes. They were the first to call and inquire about my commercial project. When we meet, every thing that I inquired about could be done with no problem according to the owner and his assistant but more importantly they promised that it could be done within the timeframe that I required for this project. They submitted a proposal which asked for much less than the other contractors I spoken with during search. I decided to go with them. They advised me that a third of the money for the job was due in order to start the project. I agreed but did not schedule a time to make the transaction. First the assistant began to push for the funds immediately. Then the owner began to push for immediate payment. He stated that I needed to the make the payment immediately in order to complete the job in 2-3 weeks. I should have saw this as a red flag because he stated that the job would not start until 2 weeks later, unfortunately I made the payment that afternoon. I will sum up this experience by saying they did not start the job as they agreed to. The owner would show up periodically for a hour or two. He did a light demo. He put up some sheet rock and started priming the walls by the time I ended the project with their company. My money was not used to purchase any significant materials. He constantly made promise such as starting the floors the next week but nothing ever happened. The last draw was a 4 consecutive day absence the week after the job was supposed to be completed. My request for a refund has not been responded to. They put me in a major bind. I would highly recommend NOT doing business with this company.
