Calhoun Remodeling did an outstanding job repairing a leak in our 2nd floor master bath shower and repairing the drywall ceiling in our 1st floor. Knowledgeable, great attention to detail and their work is first rate. Calhoun Remodeling did an incredible job in transforming our unfinished attic space into an essential part of our home. Shawn and Gerry helped guide us in making decisions to best utilize the space, and the final product is excellent. They added brand new walls, ceiling, flooring, and closet space. Shawn went out of his way to find the right materials to fit the irregularly shaped room and maximize its potential. I will definitely be calling them again for all future projects.

Drywall Installation
Came on time but had some communicated issues. The work completed on time. Some issues with the quality of work.

"My biggest mistake on this project was agreeing to do the work! We agreed to finish drywall that had been installed by a family member of the homeowner. To say that the drywall was improperly installed is an understatement. We went above and beyond to make the finish work look great and considering what the installation looked like in the beginning, we succeeded. The homeowners must have had zero expectations for the drywall install because a family member did the work and probably for free. Unfortunately, I guess the homeowners thought everything could be fixed with the finish work but the finish work is a product of the installation, not vise versa. This review is an anomaly and it's my opinion that it should be discounted by the reader as such. All our other reviews reflect our commitment to quality work, customer service, and good communication."

"We removed Tom's old 32" door and frame along with some wall studs and sheathing. We then framed for the larger door opening so he can install a 72" Pella sliding glass door. Tom was good do work with and a nice person also!"

We had a very difficult stainless steel railing to secure. Shaun did this excellently so that this railing is in perfect shape and strengthened. Highly recommend him and will rehire him for future projects.
