Once I got a person in your company that followed thru--excellent. Was able to schedule and get job done in a few days so I gave current crew the 5 stars. I originally contacted your company several months ago and had a person working to get someone to me. After numerous attempts, never happened. I went back online to start process all over again and then got everything done. Fantastic job too. We are certainly going to use you again and I am raving about you to everyone.

They seem to really care about what they are doing. A designe came out and showed me samples that were exactly what we had talked about on the phone. A First Impression's prices were less than the other 2 quotes I received and they gave me a lifetime guarantee. They had everything done quicker than I expected and with quality beyond what I had hoped. I have already recommended them to another friend.

Being that I am not a homeowner, I have never before experienced first-hand the hiring of someone to do a project like this. The interior decorator that came to show me fabric swatches was wonderful...I told her "purple velvet", and she brought several purple velvets to choose from. There were a few glitches throughout the process (the fabric I originally chose turned out to be no longer available, but they immediately sent me swatches for similar fabrics, and I found one that I liked even better--then the wrong fabric was ordered, but then they got the correct one--then the delivery truck broke down so they couldn't bring me my chair until they got it fixed), but all was remedied in a timely fashion. I finally received my reupholstered chair and four large pillows, and I love them. There are just a few tiny quirks in the results (one tiny flaw in a corner of the fabric of one of the pillows, one tiny edge not completely sewn under the encasing on the arm of the chair, tips of the tiny nails sticking out of the wood along the very bottom edge of the wood in the back) but it's nothing I can't live with, since these things can all be "hidden" well. All in all, the chair and four large pillows are gorgeous. I would like to eventually have three other large pillows reupholstered as well, and I will definitely use this same company

The actual upholstery is wonderful. The came to me with samples. My only issue was with the people who picked up the furniture and delivered it They made appointments for both and did not make it in their window of time, and did not call until way after. Very frustrating and rude.

Our "first impression" was excellent. Contact was made, an appointment was made for the estimate and the salesperson showed up on time, was professinal and very helpful choosing coordinating fabrics. She even explained the warranty of the labor plus the warranty of the fabric. Due to our individual business schedule, we were able to set the pick-up and delivery time for our convenience, however, the pick up did not go smoothly (full truck, traffic jam) and we scheduled for the following day (not good). The promise of delivery time and workmanship is yet to be determined. I will be better informed after Tuesday morning at 7:00 A.M.

Jason of A First Impression was very friendly and enthusiastic and repaired my sleeper sofa within minutes. I would hire him again on the spot! The only downpoint is the rate. 150$ for exchanging a rivet in a sleeper sofa, but I guess he is not the one to blame for the rate; I was very impressed by his efficiency. Apparently the employees of this firm use their own cars and charge extra for the gas; I paid $10. You would expect that to be included in a rate that high.... Anyways: Thank you, Jason!

Prompt and courteous pickup. Took some time to get an estimate as to repairs, but once that was done, work was completed and item returned in a timely way.

They did a wonderful job repairing a hole in the cushion of my couch. You can't even tell there was ever a problem.

It was great. I sent a picture in of my chairs, via text cause it was easier for me. I knew what I wanted and was texted a few color choices in the pattern. I got a quote and with in 2 days the 10 chairs were picked up, 2 weeks later delivered and I love them.

I was impressed with the man. But his price was too high ,for the size of the project. The 2d listing was not an upholsterer, but a furniture repairer. He said he would tell his friend, an upholsterer, to give me a call. Never happened.

Regina Forster was my A First Impression representative, and she was wonderful. She brought the perfect materials to my house to make sure they blended with the existing room, and gave me a very reasonable price. The finished product is perfect.

The design consultant was knowledgable and very helpful while I selected fabrics. And, when I requested repair of the wooden chair legs of my arm chair, the staff - including the owner - took the time to clearly and carefully explained how the work would be done and what it would look like. From the design consultant to the skilled upholsterers to the owner - everyone we dealt with at A First Impression was competent, kind, and professional - they all made a great first impression, the quality of work is impeccable and my chair - it's better than it was when new! They are to be commended!
