Major Home Repair (General Contractor)
Over the past five years, I've contracted Call A Pro Home Improvements for a number of projects, renovations, and needed repairs. From roof replacement, siding, storm damage, to kitchen and bath remodels. Most recent, replacement windows, with new energy efficient ones. The craftsmanship, and attention to detail taken by his crew is exceptional. They treat my family and our property with respect. Mr. King, the owner, Is involved from start to finish. His knowledge, and experience are apparent. Expect a detailed written, scope of work, listing materials, cost, and labor. He shares with me all options to cut cost, allowing me to work within my means. You'll know up front your working with a professional. They are prompt and efficient. Mike oversees the work daily, communicates progress and makes sure your aware of anything unexpected. I've worked with other contractors in the past hoping they show up. having to watch the work. THANKS MIKE! Working with you takes away all the stress.

Vinyl Siding - Install or Completely Replace
Do not hire him. His company was hired for a remodel and the work was not done appropriately or on time. He wasn?t able to complete the work by the completion date. When I tried to talk to him about the status of the job, he threatened to cancel the project. He was rude and unprofessional. The worker that did most of the work, he was very nice, was left by Michael to work on this by himself and the job needed supervision from Michael. Michael offered his worker no help. We ended up having to hire another company to finish this job because Michael would not get back with us or return our calls. The only reason he was used is because my parents wanted to do this for us at our house. The job was done in a sloppy manner and any time I brought up something to Michael he brushed it aside. Do not use him unless you like hiring another company to fix the unfinished and and improper work. Michael never came to check on anything and left his workers alone. Do not use this company

Michael King, of Call-A-Pro Home improvements quoted a job for siding at our home. He was to bring our home up to code and would do quality, professional work, above and beyond other local contractors. He ensured that all rotten wood would be replaced and the home would be insulated and sided with vinyl siding and steel clips that could withstand a hurricane, also that it would be caulked properly ensuring no gaps. Our home is in deplorable condition. There are gaps everywhere, there is standing water in the siding, there is caulk everywhere except where it should be and the work is shoddy and haphazard, at best. There are sharp edges, places where nothing meets up nor is held down, huge gaps for water trapping and moisture, and staples were used, even in places where they would not attach to hold the siding in place. The rotten wood was NOT replaced. I could pull the house apart with my bare hands if I wanted to. I have pictures and videos to prove it. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

"After reading this review I must respond, Dear Mr. Nichelson, Due to the verbal threats and the physical abuse by your husband in front of my staff that occurred Monday, December 27th on your property regarding the minor siding repairs that I agreed to complete, I will be unable to finish those repairs in good faith. In a conversation that I had with your lender yesterday, explaining to them why I could not complete those repairs and also the other factors, circumstances, that I could not resolve this issue will you to finish those repairs. I also indicated to the lender that since I cannot resolve this issue, I will be willing to pay of."

Responded very quickly was very fair price wise. Communication was top notch! Came back when needed to “adjust” a small area! And when weather permitted finished in one day! Clean up was extremely good considering how messy roofs are to install and no damage to plants or shrubs or house! Highly recommend!

Firstly, Call a Pro was 30% less than the other quote I received. (The third quote request never showed.). On a roof, that’s significant savings. The job took significantly longer than promised, but we would rather have it done right than rushed. There were definitely some gaps in communication and some messiness during the job, but the final clean up was good and so far, the roof looks great and no leaks. If you’re ok with doing a bit of follow up for significant price savings (warranty was also better than competitor’s quote), then definitely check them out.

Mr. Mike showed interest from the time he was aware of my project. Painting or Staining - Small Projects
After waiting two weeks for a local business to provide a quote after viewing the project, I contacted Home Adviser and was connected with Call A Pro. The owner came out the next day and provided a quote ON THE SPOT. I signed the contract, and the job was quickly completed to my satisfaction. I will definitely hire them again.
