Unbelievably professional, very prompt, respectful, fast and comfortable service. It felt like having a family member working on my system, thats how comfortable, and rest assured I was with the Tech. He explained everything to me and most importantly, the company didnt try to haggle or bankrupt me. I will truly forever "Call Dad" for my electrical work. 10/10 recommend.

Gas Furnace / Forced Air Heating System Repair Service
ZERO STARS!! Had a "plumber" from Call Dad to fix a blocked toilet. Had to call someone from Columbia since apparently, they don't have plumbers in Charlotte (WTH?) even though they claim to have local plumbers. Guy charged me over $400 and told me they had to call another company to actually fix the problem. This company was also out of Columbia and didn't serve Charlotte. Plumber said he couldn't do anything and I had to call another plumber but did not offer any refund. Called another plumber and he fixed for a little over $100. Call Dad lost another customer! Looking at other reviews here, I'm not the only one.

Gas Furnace / Forced Air Heating System Repair Service
We had two Carrier HVAC systems installed, to the tune of $25K. As the installer was getting ready to leave he noted that there was an error light showing but it probably won't be a problem until it gets colder and we need to use the furnace.
Really? Wait for it to fail? No, I had him fix it. I expect to have a new system which is operational, not one which will probably fail on us later! Amazing!
A little over a month later the furnace went out anyway. They tech looked at it and told us the control board as bad. On a system which was only a few months old! Even better, they told me they could not get a replacement any time soon - factory problems or something. Again, really? There is not another board to be had anywhere and we had to deal with no heat for about 10 days. Thank goodness we were on the downside of summer.
The salesman who sold us the system leaned heavily on the fact that we would be eligible for a federal tax credit of up to $3200. Great...

The showerhead was repaired, but as the technician was putting it back together, he accidentally broke a gasket. He then went back to his warehouse and brought me a brand new showerhead at no extra cost. THAT is how you keep a customer happy. Will definitely use this company again.

I've had a service contract with them and their predecessor companies for a decade. I get up-sell pitches with each service visit since Call Dad. The last visit needed a condensate pump. They charged over $500 (this was already a semi-annual service visit under contract) and pitched a new igniter and capacitor at equally obscene markups. When I didn't renew the service contract, they removed the in-contract discount for the pump. I'm looking for a new HVAC contractor.

It was a Sunday and I didn't want to be with the main valve shut off another day again because I wrecked my shower, long story....so I was grateful someone came. The first, Alejandro saw this was way out of his league.. This needed the master plumber who was very experienced and efficient and he brought everything back to normal. Thank you for helping. I appreciated his skill and knowledge he learned from observations, and doing it wrong once, as I can commiserate. Price? Just a bit over what I figured it might cost...but it was Sunday morning and I needed a lesson taught about blindly following an AI bot.

Still waiting for a call back after initial visit. They were to move forward but no time schedule yet and A/C not working.
As of now, this looks like 4 days of wasted time as I am not sure their customer service exist. The lady this morning said she would mark as urgent and get to a manager. You would think a simple call to a customer explaining backlog or schedule repair date should not take more than 5 minutes.
Will give them until later today and then move on...

One of my AC units was not working correctly so as always I went to Angi to find someone qualified to do the work. CALL DAD HVAC called me right away and said they could come out that afternoon but due to my schedule had to wait until the next morning. Daniel arrived here promptly and worked all day until all the work was completed to my satisfaction and approval. I was so pleased with the work I decided to sign up for a year's contract with them which was very reasonably priced. If someone needs any HVAC services/repairs I highly recommend CALL DAD!

Had a repairman come out to troubleshoot my A/C a few days ago. The issue was the start capacitor for the fan. This is a common failure. The repairman was professional and diagnosed the issue fairly quickly. The issue I have was with the bill. First of all, it's written like a story instead of a line stating labor and a line for parts. I had to call the company to get an accurate explanation. The labor was $ 89.00. The replacement capacitor was $ 617.61. I was shell shocked about the cost and asked a manager about the price. He stated that the capacitor cost the company around $ 200.00 and that there was a five-year warranty. I researched the cost of the capacitor and its available at many vendors for around $ 70.00 retail. I feel marking the part up to 900% is too much. Part data: AmRad Turbo200 Universal Motor-run Capacitor. 440/370 VAC, 50/60 Hz. Replaces 2.5 to 67.5 MFD.
