He was knowledgeable and courteous, fair, and honest. Cal is laid back in his approach. We also like the flexibility of choosing most of the materials and fixtures. His pricing was very affordable and the workmanship was good. He remodeled our bathroom.

This was the second job we had Cal work for us. He has always been courteous, fair, and honest. We've always been happy with the prices he has quoted us and the quality of his work is fantastic.

We had a full basement/basement remodel done. Cal is fair, honest and laid back in his approach. We also like the flexibility of choosing most of the materials and fixtures. His pricing was very affordable and the workmanship was adequate. We felt the sheetrock subcontractors could have done a better job, especially in the corners. The sheet rockers also left quite a mess on the cement slab floor which was never addressed to our satisfaction. Even with carpet laid over it, you can feel little bumps and rises in spots. If we were to do over again, we would insist on a proposed completion date and a dust/mess mitigation program in writing.

He gave me a great estimate, showed up on time and did a great job

I am very happy with the wonderful quality of work that was provided. I had cabinets installed on a wall from floor to ceiling. Cal was very patient with me making sure I understood how it would look when it was finished. We tried several layouts and was Frey happy with is suggestions. He went above our expectations and even added crown molding so it would match the kitchen.

Great work. Provided different options to select from. Competitively priced. Very reasonable.

I appreciated that he had no problem with getting up on the roof of this old 2 and half story home. Fixed my problem chimney in one day. Price was fair and Cal was personable and explained what he had to do to fix it. I'll have him back for more projects.

Cal and team demolished my kitchen and then repaired the walls after extensive plumbing/electrical work was done. Always showed up when they said and finished on time so I was very happy with their work.

He gave me accurate information and the ability to chose a design of my own and work around it to get the look and devices I wanted. I would highly recommend this firm to anyone who is looking to rehab an existing older home because he is adept at determining what path to take and admits when he cannot do something (a huge plus). Anyone who is willing to say "I don't know," would get my vote because it means that what he does know is honest and holds integrity.

He was professional prompt he did overtaking he said he was reasonable with pricing and I though he very good!!

Cheaper does not always = better. Friendly and responsive. I was just not very happy with the end product. Existing stairs were steep and in an awkward spot, but replacement stairs were not level, left very little head room, and - in my opinion - exhibited poor craftsmanship. Although they were just basement stairs and I wasn't expecting them to look great, I was expecting them to look decent.

Completed a project started by the homeowner, using materials already in place, as desired by the homeowner. Cleaned up as he completed areas that were in use. Overall, project looks very nice and finished. Cost of project seemed to be very fair, stayed within estimate. Completed project in reasonable amount of time.
