We contracted Campbell A/C to replace the ancient wheezy upstairs central A/C system that used R-22 (really, really expensive refrigerant now) that was here when we bought our house 3 years ago with a modern heat pump system. Doug Campbell was completely professional at all stages of our business with him & his employees. Now we have a good modern system with appropriate capacity (we requested the capacity increase) to face the SA for the summers in SA as well as efficient heat during the winters here. The incremental capacity cost was 5% increase in $$$ for a 20% capacity increase so it was a no-brainer. Doug Campbell is the kind of business owner we feel good about doing business with, a rare finding in today's society.

Love the quality equipment as well as quality customer service. Would go with Mr Campbell any time again and again. Airtron and some other companies were overcharging and replacing when it was not time yet to do so. Mr campbell did a quick fix and said not to worry about the full replacement of the inside and outside air conditioner system. I called him back when it was time and had a new complete air conditioner system up and running within 2 days.

Overall professional, quality work. However, I found the cost for what Doug did outrageous ($125). He fixed a leaking A/C drain pipe and checked out the furnace. It only took him about 10 minutes to complete, and he only used a few pieces of tape, some glue, and about a foot of pipe insulation. Almost immediately after he left, he called me back to let me know not to call him if I had any other issues with the system, as he doesn't know how to repair Ruud systems. It seems that if he can't repair all systems, he should of asked what type of system I had before he accepted the call. With that said, he did provide me contact information for someone who could potentially fix a Ruud system if I needed it.

Doug replaced my heating and air condition units. Doug and his helper were very professional and the job was impeccable and at a very competitive price. They are some of the most professional and clean and caring people I have ever hired to work in my home. Highly recommend these guys!
