I called to get a quote to have my 40'x12' deck stripped back and repainted. John and Derrick came out the next day. We discussed what needed to be done, and they were back again the following day to power wash and prime. The deck was finished today and looks absolutely amazing. I'm so happy with the end result! John and Derreck are a pleasure to work with. Professional, efficent and the work they provided was outstanding in every way. Thank you so very much!

John came out and after looking at our deck,gave us a quote to wash and stain the deck. We felt very comfortable with him and did not want a second opinion..we said yes..He came out with worker and power washed the deck. Amazing how clean it became. We waited for weather to be dry and yesterday his crew came and stained the deck. They were very professional and the deck looks great. We would recommend Campbell Painting to anyone .

Very pleased with the work done by John and Derrek of Campbell Painting. They did a super job of resurfacing my deck. They use quality Benjamin Moore products. I was kept informed of the work status with multiple phone calls from John when work was postponed because of weather and/or when they would be on the job site. The deck was sanded twice during the process and ended up extremely smooth. It received an oil based primer and at least 2 coats of stain. The stain was applied very precisely with no overspray of overlaps on other parts of the house. Difficult areas were painted by hand. No plantings around the deck were damaged. John constantly sought my feedback on the work as it progressed to be sure I was pleased. Before he started the job he promised me he would exceed my expectations, and he did. My decks have never looked so good.

John was amazing to work with. He and his team did a wonderful job restoring our deck. He did what he said he was going to do when he said he was going to do it. Highly recommend John and his team.

They did an amazing job! I swear there was like half an inch of moss on our deck and it looks a million times better! They said it would continue lightning over the next few days, so I’m excited to see that result, but it looks amazing now and they literally just left.

John responded to my Angi request right away. He was anxious to start the work. He arranged to come to the house asap to give us a quote. We hired him over two other companies. He and Derrick were friendly, efficient and very concerned that their work was perfect. We definitely recommend Campbell Painting. They will be painting the outside of our house when the weather breaks.

I requested a quote on the ANG site on Thursday morning and I received a call right away from John Campbell - John's partner Derek came to my house shortly after to make sure they understood the scope of the project and made sure to understood my needs. John and Derek came that SATURDAY to complete the project!

With in minutes of putting my request for a quote, I received a call from Campbell Painting. They were out to my home the same day, and offered me a great price. My project was tedious requiring a sealer over dark paneling then two coats of light colored paint. The results are transformative. They arrived on time with everything they needed, and kept me posted on the progress. They cleaned up afterwards, and were fun to work with. My project was done in 2 days and looks amazing. I recommend Campbell Painting for a knowledgeable, efficient experience.

I hired Campbell Painting to paint my kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, and downstairs, and the experience was very disappointing for the $3,500 price. They criticized the small amount of painting we attempted as homeowners; it felt like we paid for a comedy show; they had jokes for days about the painting we attempted and made. VERY CLEAR? They thought we did a terrible job. Looking back, it seemed like an upsell tactic. Their estimate said materials were included, yet they used our paint, tape, brushes, ladder, and we still had to make two trips to Sherwin-Williams to buy more products ourselves. The quality also fell far below professional standards: paint was left on our brand-new floors, they didn't paint behind the refrigerator, several areas were sloppy, and they didn't reinstall the outlet covers. For the cost, the results should have been clean and detailed, but instead, we are now left with multiple issues that need to be fixed. I would not recommend!

They did not properly power wash the deck areas, the steps down to the yard, or the attached screened-in porch/shed. The time it took from getting their equipment out of the truck to packing it back up was only 45 minutes. It was far from a thorough job. They failed to sand the surfaces that required sanding. They did not fully prime the wood and applied one incomplete coat of stain. The contract stated they would apply two coats of stain. There were numerous areas untouched by any stain, leaving plain wood in view. They stained over leaves and debris, which caused it to start peeling in many areas. The crew did not leave the leftover stain (that we paid for) behind for any touch-up work. If we could rate a zero, we would.

John was great when I called him and he was quick to come out and power wash our deck and take my money, but that?s where my positive experience ended. I made the mistake of paying them in full, up front, because I thought he seemed trustworthy and like he?d get the job done quickly. After paying him, I never heard from John again. It took 12 weeks to sand and paint my deck and a small outdoor pergola. John would not respond to my texts or voicemails, and after four different no call-no shows I eventually had to threaten to contact my attorney if the project was not completed in the next week. At that point they did send Darryl out to stain the deck, who did do a nice job. It took another month to get the pergola refinished after yet another threat to contact my attorney. Derrek came out to complete it and gave me a lot of attitude about doing so. But, it does look nice and they did a good job quality-wise. Overall, save yourself the headache and find someone else.

They are excellent painters, very detail oriented and clean up well. They are very reasonable and will work with your budget. I highly recommend them to any residential or commercial client. They are both 5 star rating painters!
