I will try to be as fair as possible in my review. I hired Chris and his team for some yard work (mostly cleanup) in addition to bamboo removal which was the main job. If you do not know about bamboo, its extremely difficult to remove because of the way its roots run deep into the ground, so the only way to effectively remove them is by digging out the ground and removing the roots, otherwise they will come right back. Chris agreed to bring a mini-excavator and dig out wherever the machine **could reach**. In addition, I also asked for some cleanup, removal of weeds, ie normal yard work. To be fair, Chris was very professional, very responsive, and came on time and exactly when he said he would, and thats part of the reason why I have waited over 2 weeks since the jobs **completion** to write this review. The normal yard work was completed quickly and satisfactorily, however the bamboo removal was not. Chris and his team cut the bamboo flush and then used a mini excavator to basically just turn dirt and then pat it flat and did not bother to get deep enough to actually remove the roots. All of the roots are still there, and I can literally dig in any place I want and find a root within 6 inches of digging. Yes, some of these roots go as deep as a foot and some even more, but that was supposed to be the point of the excavator. If I just wanted to cut the bamboo flush, I have had that done multiple times for a couple of hundred bucks. Whats worse is that I was actually able to dig out many of the roots manually with a shovel after his team left, so I have a hard time believing that a mini excavator could not get to these roots. The evening the job was completed, it was late in the day, and the yard looked pretty clean (all the roots were underneath the dirt), so I paid him promptly, in full and even some tip on top. The next day I messaged him about some of the bamboo I found near a tree trunk, and he simply said he was unable to get those because of the tree roots. Later on I was able to dig them out by hand. I then discovered that the entire yard still had basically ALL of the bamboo that was supposed to be dug out, and texted him, messaged him on HomeAdvisor, left a message on his line, and called him multiple times to try and address the issue, but I havent received a single reply or heard back from him. Like I said in the beginning, I was hoping I did not have to write this review, mainly because Chris was very professional and responsive in my dealings with him in the beginning. I have made every attempt to contact Chris directly, but I have had no luck doing so. Judging from the other reviews, it seems like he does a good job at normal yard work (and he did a good job for my normal work as well), but he has not been at all helpful in addressing a $1600 wasted job and has ignored my messages and calls since.

Responded quickly with a quote which was very competitive. Work was scheduled and started the next day. Team was professional and thorough. The quality of the work was excellent and they exceeded my expectations. Money well spent and I will consider them for future jobs in the Spring.

I was contacted within an hour of submitting a request to HomeAdvisor. Stopped by the next morning to survey what didn't to be done. Offered a very reasonable price. The job was completed in less than 2 hours - yard looks great! Definitely will use them again.

It took effort to get a start date. The work looked ok in the beginning. Perennials planted were underwhelming and never actually bloomed then died within 2 weeks. Thought I would get more bang for my buck.

Hired C&C through Home Advisor for biweekly lawn care. They are on time and thorough. Very easy to work with. And the lawn looks great!

They did excellent work on some tree removal and pruning we needed done. They were prompt and courteous and I would highly recommend them.

Not big on reviews, I'd really have to be blown away to give one. They accomplished that on the positive end. They were on time, VERY quick and the rate they charged me was so good I'm not sure how other companies compete. I'd recommend 10times over. You will not regret hiring them. They were so good that I'm hoping this review gets them more work.

I got a quote on the 10th and the grass was cut on the 11th. I had hired a couple of other people to do it in the past, but the service from C&C was far superior. Polite, prompt, and professional.. excellent and highly recommended!
