1-800 WATER DAMAGE of McKinney & Frisco

We experienced a water incident during one of the latest storms. Sherif and his team were friendly, honest and professional. I highly recommend them for water damage or remediation projects!

Sherif from 1-800 water damage came to my house to dry the carpet from water damage. The insurance company didn't want mold to develop. Sherif took several measurements in various locations to place a dehumidifier. The temporary installed dehumidifier was in place for approximately 36 hrs in the carpeted room. The machine wasn't very loud and did the job it was supposed to do. Sherif did testing post running the machine and verified that the moisture levels were acceptable. Sherif was kind and explained the entire process, including him receiving payment from the insurance company.

Sherif did an excellent job addressing the mold issues at our house. He made the experience as painless as possible from the start. He came out to evaluate the areas that required treatment, reviewed the protocol from the inspector, provided a competitive estimate, and stuck to it even though the job required more than what was expected. He was very professional, courteous, and a pleasure to work with. I would use him again and highly recommend.

Incredible response time: Minutes after I filed my insurance claim, 1800 Water Damage called and said they were on their way to my home. Onsite, they addressed all my concerns and did what they needed, also including photos, measurements, readings, and drawing to report back to the insurance company. Great service from smart and thorough people (Ayman and Sherif). I sure hope I don't need too, but I definitely would have them here again to provide their service.

What follows is a tale of two quotes. One quote from another business included a ton of tear outs, which could of course conveniently be fixed by their sister company, and a huge water mitigation cost. The second quote, from 1-800 Water Damage had only the necessary tear outs, less equipment etc. and came out to about one fifth of the first quote! If you want an honest company that will do an excellent job with full transparency and strive to reduce your reconstruction costs (because they don't have a sister company that will profit off of the reconstruction), then this is the one. They conducted their water mitigation professionally, thoroughly, and with honesty and integrity. They took care of everything that needed to be addressed and only what needed to be addressed. I couldn't be happier with the end result.
