Flagstone walk and portico repair. After three frustrating experiences, trying to get our flagstone walk repair estimated by local Frederick County small companies, who either gave laughably expensive quotes or failed multiple times return calls, we branched out to Olney, MD based C&G Masonry, solely based on their 5 Star ratings. I?d give them a ten, if I could. Pete Chakalakis replied to my inquiry the same day, and asked for photos and dimensions of the affected area. From that information, he provided a quote, which he held to by the letter. Also said travel to Frederick would present no problem. He and his highly skilled apprentice did a thoroughly professional job in diamond-sawing out the cracked mortar joints and beautifully repointing. They returned a few days later, after the repairs had cured, and carefully cleaned the remaining haze, and sealed the entire area with a natural look sealant. Tell the truth, it looks better the original installation.

Gus and his crew did a great job repairing the crumbling stone wall on our property. The estimate was timely and fair. They were able to schedule and complete the work quickly - within a week. The finished work looks wonderful- we could not be happier. Great company to work with; would use them again in a heartbeat.

Chris and his team did an excellent job on my patio slab. They had a quick turnaround from my initial call and we're always responsive to my questions. Job was done in less than two days and there pricing is fair.

I contracted with the C&G Masonry team to fix a water intrusion problem above a window on the third floor of my brick townhouse. I was very impressed with their experience and knowledge, an example of which was waiting until the weather conditions were just right to do the work, important in the middle of February. The team arrived, set up scaffolding and made the required repairs. The team had fun working together and I could tell took great pride in a job very well done. Gus even took the time to point out things I had never noticed in my home’s brick façade. Although a small job for C&G it made a big difference to me. I will work with the C&G crew on my next masonry project!

I needed to have my bricks on my house tucked and pointed from an aged settlement and damaged work from a previous masonry contractor. If a homeowner wants quality and service from a contractor, C&G Masonry, Inc. is the ONLY COMPANY to use/contract for masonry jobs in my opinion. My house NOW looks like: BRAND NEW BRICK WORK. If a homeowner wants to be completely satisfied with new masonry work, you know what company to contract.

Chris was great, I told him about the leak is my basement and we traced it to the front step. He quickly identified the source of the problem and scheduled the work a day later. Project done in two days with a beautiful Pennsylvania blue stone as my front step. Several big storms later no water has penetrated that area!

My project was completed on time and the workers were very professional, explaining in detail what was being done and why. They also performed some tasks that were not including in the original work order, free of charge.

Promptly returned phone calls. Work was completed within requested time frame. Very happy with end result. Highly recommend.

While they did not offer the lowest price, it was competitive. They worked around my schedule and completed their work in a timely fashion. There was no mess or debris left behind.

Provided reasonable, written estimate. Performed service in a timely manner and in a professional manner. Drilled out the concrete foundations completely and removed all the rubble. I was completely satisfied with the job and would hire the company again if I needed concrete application or removal.
