First let me say Home Advisor provides a wonderful service. Candler and Sons contacted me shortly after completing the short form on the site and came out the next day (less than 24 hrs. for a non-emergency). They were professional, reasonable cost and made quality repair the same day. Will definitely call them again in the fall for furnace!! Highly recommend this company.

My AC (an older one) stopped working. They sent out a repairman the same day. He identified the problem as a starter relay, which he said is not a component of newer ACs. He thought it would run fine without it, or, he could replace it for $100-plus. I opted with doing without the relay and now, a year later, the AC still works as well as ever. I appreciate that he gave me the recommendation to bypass the relay.

Finally got my heating fix by this service company. Had three other visits by other companies that told us nothing was wrong even when we told them that when it was cold the heat would not work.

I wish HomeAdvisor allowed me to give Candler & Sons 6 stars! In addition to being very responsive, punctual, knowledgeable, fair, efficient, friendly, he shared the pros and cons so I could make an informed decision. Candler is just the type of contractor to lock into your phone to take the guesswork out of your next HVAC issue.
