Capital Roofing and Construction

I hired Capital Construction to tuckpoint my foundation and fix a gutter on my homeless than a year ago. One year later and things have not gone well. 1. The gutter they fixed is currently leaking out the side, this gutter is covered by warranty, I have called to get it fixed and they are now ghosting me. Sending me to voicemail and ignoring email and texts. 2. They did not finish the job per the contract, they lost the doors that covered my chimney and never replaced them with new ones as promised. 3. Some of the mud they used to help repair the wall cracked and proceeded to fall off the wall, this is covered by the warranty they signed, yet they are ignoring my calls, emails, and texts. I am not sure what else I can do at this point to get them to honor the work they did that is now falling apart less than a year later. I have called.

Very professional and courteous, great experience

Very effecient, excellent work on the gutters all around my house.

Capital Roofing was able to repair a crack in the roof due to freezing temperatures. They removed all snow and ice dams and and were able to repair it quickly.

Capital Roofing did an an excellent job on window flashing, roof repairs and gutter replacement work post winter storms in 2021. They were responsive, thorough and fast. Most of all, doing business with them is like being part of a family that looks out for your needs.

Much like many others throughout Chicagoland earlier in the year, the repeated snowstorms created an ice dam in my gutter system, leading to water backing up into my home. What began as a slow drip quickly devolved into a steady stream, and I reached out to a number of companies as the situation became an emergency. Thankfully, they had an available slot to come out and remove the snow/ice from my home's roof and gutters. Their quote came in on par with others companies I had contacted, but their availability and background as a true roofing company versus a group with pressure washers made the choice an easy one. They were communicative throughout the entire process, arrived promptly at our scheduled time, and secured the gutters after the strain they were subjected to due to the weight of snow/ice. No one wants to experience problems with their home, but they made a stressful situation tolerable, and for that I am grateful. Highly recommended!

Great service!

This is a family owned company, I had an emergency job because of the heavy snow and icethe gutter on the second story of my house fell off. They came out on Sunday to give me a quote and back on Monday morning to do the job. They made sure everything was cleaned up before they left. I thought the downspout was a little too high but they promised to come back and fix it. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone.

Called Capital Roofing & Construction and within minutes I got scheduled for same day snow removal. Entire driveway and walkway was cleaned out within minutes. Very easy to work with and affordable. Will definitely be calling back for future snow removal!

Excellent work. I was also pleasantly surprised at how quickly they completed the job of installing a new roof when I had previously met with some contractors who informed me they could not do that kind of work until spring. They are also on call 24/7...so someone is always there to deal with your concerns. I intend to recommend them to anyone I know who needs a general contractor or has a construction project.

Capital Roofing and Construction is a great family-owned business! Within 24 hrs of asking for an estimate I had met three generations of Georgeâ s! They worked quickly and efficiently, and made sure to walk me through the work they did. I would HIGHLY recommend them, and will definitely use them for any work I need done in the future.

Awesome, responsive and friendly.

Very good work. Great price. Nice to work with. Showed up in time. Completed work as specified. Cleaned all debris. Would work with them again. Have already referred them. Very professional.

Very responsive, easy to schedule.

Josh and Tony were great to work with.

They were professional and did a great job of repairing my limestone steps. However, after the concrete dried there were cracks and lines up and down the porch and stairs. I have contacted Tony and Josh on several occasions to fix the problems and they have ensured me that they would stand behind their 10-year warranty. Again, they have failed to keep their word and I am left with a front porch that looks discolored and scarred with lines and indentations. If we do not hear from this company by 08/21/2021 we will initiate a BBB complaint. Be aware this company gives you the impression that they are to be trusted but they cannot be trusted to stand behind their workmanship.

Good, prompt work. Nice family business run by long time Chicagoans. Iâ ll have them back in Spring for some additional items. Thanks, guys!

Great job. Communication and execution were in point. Good go to for narrow or wide scopes of work

They were very professional, kind, knowledgeable and helpful. During this time of COVID-19 we all find ourselves low on funds, you have to protect yourself and those four walls for your family. We needed Tuckpointing done and we needed someone who was honest, fair and trustworthy. And this is what you will find in Capital Roofing And Construction! Our job was completed in a timely manner. And now I have a construction company I can call for my external needs anytime! Thank you! Tony and Josh! Loretta Wiley-Harper

Did a good job and did additional work that was not quoted. They were prompt with quoting scheduling and completing the work.

Extremely responsive â they were here for the consult within a few hours of me reaching out; project was done within 48 hours.
