I used to think my studio looked “cool” with the original garage-style concrete floors… I was very wrong. During the rainy season, I kept having issues with water coming in, which caused my wood baseboards to mold and crack. It became such a headache. Finally, I decided to move forward with epoxy—and it completely transformed my space. It truly elevated everything. I 100% recommend adding the baseboards as well—they made all the difference. We had another heavy rain after the install, and although water did come in again, I was able to wipe it right up with zero damage to the walls. Huge relief. Now my studio feels more professional, clean, and so much more inviting. As for Jack, he was quick to respond, friendly, and very personable. You can genuine tell he loves what he does, which made the whole experience even better. I’m always happy to support a small business, and I truly wish him all the success. I’ll definitely be calling him again to do my basement next!

Jack was courteous and responsive and promptly within 48hours he had come to my home and had me a quote at an outstanding rate. Once committed it was done well under the days we negotiated. He then followed up with me 3 months later to see how the floor was holding up and asked if he needed to come back. Those little things mean so much to me because customer service isn’t what it used to be. I highly recommend him and endorse him!

I own a salon in Sunnyvale and needed floors that would hold up to heavy daily use but still be easy to clean. Hairdressers are messy!! After considering epoxy and concrete staining, I went with concrete staining and I’m so glad I did. The floors look amazing and the difference is huge! I reached out to Captain Coatings about two weeks ago to get a new flake epoxy floor done in my 4,000+ SF warehouse. I spoke to Jack on the phone and he was able to come check out my floor within 24 hours. He turned around gave me a bid within another 24 hours and started my floor the day after that. Jack reached out and let me know when he’d show up prior to showing up each day, providing me with daily updates and photos, and got the job done for 25% lower than my other two bids. The floor turned out great and I’d recommend captain coatings to anybody needing their floor done.
