Over all quality of work and detail material were very good. Sales person was deceitful in how we were going to pay for an expensive door. Customer service were also bad. I would not use them again and I had more projects in my home that needed to be done!

I really needed replacement windows and they sounded like an expert company. However when they installed the basement windows they built a frame to install the windows into which I could see daylight shining around all 5 window frames. As they weren't done, I gave them time to do it right. I was surprised when they only put caulking on the outside and inside edges showing daylight but no insulation. The windows look good but with two smears of caulking to keep out critters and water; I will have to foam it myself. I called, they said they don't do spray foam. When I complained to the crew they had trouble with the English.

Pluses: Quality of materials is top shelf, lifetime warranty on product and installation. Not so good: Time management, the installation was scheduled for late afternoon, and crew came late, as a result entry door install was rushed and wasn't done correctly. I had to schedule a second visit to correct.

Customer service on the office is very unorganized. They promised 3 different times to call me back and never did. Price was wrong on contract. But the windows look amazing and install was done with up-most perfection. I will do the rest of my house with them when the time is right. Don't let the customer service make your decision. Just plan on being a little aggravated.

Our sales representative was great and very informative. Out of all the window companies we had seen, Castle Windows was the only company that gave an exceptional presentation of their product. I'm super happy I selected Castle Windows for my home.

Salesman was very detailed but took way too much time (4hrs). Pricing not itemized and the salesman used the typical sales tactic of coming in at a very high initial price and then cutting the price in half by "calling the manager to get the price down", "offering to place a sign out in front of my house as advertising to get the price down" and "if you sign now you qualify for the reduced cost" which makes you feel pressured to sign the deal. After all that, the price was more affordable than some contractors but still a bit higher than some other contractors for equivalent product and install.

overall this company has been great. the sales rep. was professional and knowledgeable. it took 4 weeks for the windows to be made. a two man crew showed up and installed 15 windows in one day. the clean up was good and the crew was very efficient (they didn't even take a break). the price was afr better than any other estimate and in my opinion the castle product was the best. i would definitely recommend this company.

The sales guy was late, the install crew was three hours late and had to come back. Throng wrong octagon window was ordered,still waitiing .The windows have the Castle Windows writteon on locks. The guys who installed were polite, cleaned up well. Couple of minor cliches. windows are ok...some measuring was wrong, and I lost 2 inches of glass on 3 windows. they told me original windows were new construction and the new ones replacement windows and you always lose glass. I found out that was not true. they never said anything about new construction windows or other options. i was so upset by this time I cried.

If considering new windows, do some homework and talk to Castle last since they will try hard to get you to sign at the first meeting and will offer special discounts. The instalation went smoothly except for the scheduling. On the day the work was to be done, I was called and told the appointment would have to be canceled and I rescheduled for the next day. Then the installers showed up at the original time! If working with Castle, you might want to check and doulbe check the scheduling.

Installers were professional and salesperson was very nice but had us order a steel door that they couldn't make for our door size. overall the door that we ended up with is very good and well installed.

They delivered what they sold. This is a good thing. We'll find out in the winter-time if the windows 'stand up' to their reputation. Note- a couple of the other contractors that contacted me before I hired them, Castle, were somewhat 'rude' and too agressive. I didn't like that at all. Castle Windows didn't do that. So, I believe that's good business.

One good point and I will get to my dissertation; the windows are well designed. The installation team should be disbanded; from the managers running the installation team to the installers themselves. My 2 year old could have done a better job with the trim work. All in all it took almost 12 months of these guys coming back and forth, measuring, measuring again, installing, taking out again and then finally reinstalling. STAY AWAY! FAR AWAY!
