'what seemed like a simple clogged drain turned out to be more extensive and therefore very expensive, far more than the base quote. However, Carey worked hard to clear the pipes. It took 4 hours. The final bill was 4 times the original estimate; whether $1000.00 was the going rate I have no way to know. It was a lot of work and he solved the problem. He came promptly and stayed till it was done. He knew what he was doing and the work wasn't easy. I'd use his service again.

Mark was quick to respond, and always had the lines of communication open. We were able to work the schedule in the complicated time of COVID. He and his assistant did a great job cleaning the gutters, and even suggested a better/alternate gutter product that in the long run could even reduce the number of times I might need to have the gutters cleaned. A+++

This was a great experience. Mark responded to my request quickly, we worked out a price and he was able to clean out my gutters the next day! He cleaned up everything afterwards. Matt Carey and his crew are highly skilled. Matt is a straight forward and easy to communicate with. Their attention to detail and quality workmanship are the reason I will be hiring them to install my front door next. Like a lot of home renovation / job fixes there is often problems you can’t see until things get taken apart. Matt problem solves, finds the solution and still get the job done in a timely manner. All leads to quality workmanship!

Asked how much I wanted to repair, I suggested complete floor of deck Mark agreed good idea so that they would not have to return in couple of years and do the remainder.Mark gave me a good price and was completed the following day.

Hired Carey s for deck and screen house repair, painting, pressure washing house, and cleaning gutters. I am extremely happy with the results. Not only did they do what was on my list, they did many additional things, like replacing a rotted board in the garage that was not on my list, cleaning the pine needles and branches off the detached garage, painting more when needed and fixing my front door where it had rotted. Mark didn t charge me more and I very much appreciated his caring and getting these things done. When Mark saw something needing fixing, he just fixed it. He kept me informed throughout the whole job! His team worked very well together. I d definitely hire them again. Mark s customer service was exceptional.

A rare and exceptional experience! Probably very few reviews start with the above sentiment. However, our experience with Careyâ s Professional Home Maintenance lives completely up to it. Our project involved multiple repairs to my homeâ s siding, underlying plywood, trim, doors, vents as well as the redesign and rebuilding of a poorly made decorative feature to conceal my exterior electrical meter. This was not a small project. The owner, Mark Carey, showed up on time to inspect the job and collect the data to create an estimate. We found Mark to be polite, friendly and very professional. We showed Mark our homeâ s problem areas. Mark examined and diagnosed these areas and explained what was required to ensure they were repaired properly and permanently. When I asked Mark about his employees, he explained that his only employee was his dad, who has a lifetime of experience as a builder, and that they work together as a team. This was a big plus for us. Mark spent over an hour with us that day looking over our home and answering our questions. We were impressed. Markâ s estimate arrived in a timely manner. The estimate contained all items that my wife and I addressed with him, was well detailed, broken down as I requested (into portions) and was fairly priced based on the other estimates we obtained. We hired Mark. A few days before the scheduled project start date Mark contacted me because the forecast was for snow that day and he was concerned it would not be safe for him and his dad to start the job. His proactive communication also impressed us and this continued all the way through the project. Mark and his dad showed up on time and worked daily until the job was completed. Two of those days the temperature was in the low teens. Mark and his dad still worked. The project was completed in a timely manner, exactly as discussed/described and all construction debris was cleaned from my property. Mark walked me around the job and through each portion of the work to describe exactly what they found and how it was repaired. Everything looks extremely professional and his workmanship gives us great confidence that all was done correctly. And here is the best part. Mark described that some of the unseen damage was not as extensive as he originally anticipated and therefore, the job required less material and time than expected. Mark deducted these expenses from my final payment. I paid less than the quoted cost! Had Mark not been honest, I never would have known. I simply was not going to stand out in freezing temperatures and watch him and his dad work. Mark could have not informed me and kept that extra profit for himself. He did not! Mark explained that he was interested in having lifetime customers and to that end, wants to treat them fairly. Careyâ s Professional Home Maintenance has a lifetime customer in us. Do not hesitate to hire this company!
