Surfing on Home Adviser on Sunday, December 29 looking to have my trees service Carlos came out same day gave me an estimate I hired him, he and his crews started Tuesday the 31st. Some trees were dead, others half-dead needed to be removed, grind stumps, pruned dead branches on pin oaks, locus, removed branches from white pine trees I have piled up snapped from last winter snow, did a spectacular cleaning up, everything looks awesome, his price is very reasonable, I highly recommend Carlos P. If I could give additional stars, I would! We had a large pin oak tree that was at least 60 feet tall and was losing limb after limb each year. We had just recently 2 very large swamp maples taken out for $2100 including stump grinding for both, by our local contractor that we have been employing on an annual basis for the last 19 years. For years we never even bothered to check for other quotes because they were always excellent, reliable, and reasonable. However, when this oak tree came for pricing, the quote my trusted tree service contractor gave me did not feel right at $3700 ($4100-400 winter discount). That is when I felt like it was their pay-day especially during low season. So, I had 10 contractors on my list, 8 contractors come out ranging up to $4,000 some trying to up-sell me because their equipment would damage my asphalt etc.... I cancelled the other 2 contractors when I decided to go with Carlos P. LLC who not only was reasonable in quote and timing, but also recommended by both Home Advisors and Angies List, is fully insured, has an average of 4.7/5 review rating, and was ready to do the job this week. So, we took a chance and a leap of faith. We are glad we did! Carlos gave me the quote on Wednesday and showed up on time two days later as promised and on time. Carlos and all employees wore proper gear, harness, helmets and safety was definitely #1 on their list. This included not only their personal safety, but also the surroundings of my property (fence, roof, other trees...) They were quick, efficient, and super professional. Clean up was meticulous. I strongly recommend Carlos P. L.L.C to anyone who needs tree work done. This is one business card that is staying on the side of our refrigerator because we have more trees that will need to go in the near future. To Carlos and his team... Thank you!

Carlos P and his very professional staff came out after a tornado-like storm and removed trees and limbs that hit our house, deck and shed. They worked extremely hard throughout the day. Truly excellent work.

These guys were amazing. Over the past 3 years I've hired 3 other tree removal services and Tomahawk was hands down, the best. They were prompt, thorough, explained everything, delivered exactly what they promised when they promised it and cleaned up completely. And their price was totally reasonable. I've alresdy referred them to several neighbors who are also satisfied. I would definitely use them again.

Do not use these people. They take the payment and do not finish their job.
