We are a family owned business that still believes in having pride in the work we do. We value our customers and do everything we can to provide top quality service with each customer interaction we have. Since 2006 we have been servicing the community we live in and continue to grow and make more customers satisfied every day. We offer maintenance, repair and installation services for air conditioning and heating systems for both residential and commercial customers. All of our technicians are TWIC background checked and are annually examined for safety w/ the HASC certified.

Central A/C - Install
If you need a new A/C or any A/C service at all, I could not recommend this company more. In the service industry, it is sometimes difficult to find an honest, reputable company who gives 200% to all they do.
The initial visit was quick and "painless". The installation went perfectly and when they left after completion, the only way we knew they had been there was the cold air coming out of those brand-new white vents. All boxes and old vents, unit etc was hauled off so that we did not have to deal with it.
We will forever recommend this company!

Heat Pump - Install or Replace
Please read to the end so if you identify with my issues you are warned. The unit along with a dehumidifier was in stalled as a new build. So Carl's had full design of what was needed and how it was installed. No excuses on trying to deal with issues of wrongful installation from some other company. The unit was a Carrier 5 ton heat pump with a Honeywell dehumidifier connected to be first line dehumidification. Meaning the dehumidifier pulled in fresh Houston humid air and dehumidified it, dumping 100+ degree air into the home for the A/C to pull back through air handlers and cool or heat. After multiple failures of the dehumidifier with replacements x3. Honeywell was contacted (by me) and they became involved. The dehumidifier was too small and not intended to be first line humification. Carl's came and rerouted the unit at my expense! Honeywell did step up to plate and reimburse Carl's money to repay me installation fees of a new unit. That's the dehumidifier issue. The Air handler

Upon arrival investigated customer concerns. They recently replaced their thermostat but there is no heating or cooling. Checked voltage at thermostat and it was only getting 15 volts, thermostat is not getting a proper voltage. Went to furnace to further investigate and found that system is giving a code that 24 volts secondary fuse is open. Found that the fuse is blown and replaced fuse upon customer request. This was caused from replacing thermostat but not disabling all power in the AC circuit before removing old thermostat . Tranisha was great to work with. We will call Carls again!
- Verified operations and got a good temperature split.
- Programmed new thermostat to system.
- System running in heating upon departure.

Carlâ s is simply the best! So informative, kept me in the loop more than any other company has before. Came on time, alerted me along the way. The entire install went so smoothly made me feel lazy watching them work even while I was working. Our ac has been out for a while and its so nice and quiet without all the extra fans going. The system is running nice and smooth. Cooled the house down very quickly. Could not have had a better install. Carls teams are just extremely sweet, kind and awesome. We are so blessed! I moved into our house in July of 2020, knowing that all three of our air conditioning systems were shot. I called three different HVAC companies to get a quote on replacing my systems. Two of the vendors spent a short period of time and shot me quotes without really addressing my concerns. They just wanted to rip and replace my equipment and not look for the underlying issues causing such poor performance. Carlâ s Quality Cooling was a radically different experience than the other two. Their dedicated HVAC engineer, Justin, identified that the original systems were installed with large overlaps across the physical layout of the house, which made it impossible to efficiently heat or cool. They also found that my home has foam insulation and should have a sealed attic with 98% efficient furnaces instead of the 80% units that require a vented attic to provide sufficient outside air for safe operation. Justin redesigned the entire HVAC system, including ductwork and zoning, which made an enormous difference in comfort throughout the house, and my electric bill dropped dramatically. Best of all, we got a custom-engineered solution with a longer warranty period, and the price was lower than the other two bids. Thank you, Chris, with Mongomery County Pest Control, for referring me to Carlâ s! Thanks to Justin for being such a skilled HVAC system engineer, Isaac, the lead tech that can tweak and tune the systems and zoning to perfection, Jorden, and the others who perform my twice-a-year service and the customer service team! I donâ t usually write reviews, but after 3 years of service, this one is long overdue.

I like the fact that they do not try and needlessly upsell you. I hired them to install a new Daikin variable speed 4 ton unit and they were able to mate it to my existing Trane variable speed furnace, using a module. The other company that I used to use would have told me the two systems were not compatible and sold me a new furnace. I have since switched from that company to Carl's cooling for checkups and maintenance.
