Would NOT recommend! We hired Carlson Customs to gut and remodel our home last year and our experience was extremely frustrating and our disappointment great. We signed a contract and agreed our renovations were to begin by the late March 2018 and were promised completion by June 30 with late July 2018 as the --worst case scenario completion date-- We arranged for the house to be vacant for four (4) months, at additional cost to us, to allow the contractor and tradesmen maximum unfettered access to complete the work. In January, month TEN (10), when workers stopped showing up we terminated our relationship. Our project was incomplete, and we had to subcontract our the remainder of the home remodel, as well as pay an electrician and plumber to address ongoing issues. We were promised multiple dates of completion every month from August, to September, to October, to November through December. However, despite our patience and willingness to allow additional time, promised deadlines were never met. minimal work was completed after October. We held on this long because on multiple occasions we were threatened by the owner, Jason Carlson, with lawsuits and liens whenever we requested to come to a mutual agreement to settle and terminate the relationship. This happened in our own home, via phone, and text. We were so distraught we hired an attorney. We experienced subcontractors walking off the job claiming they had not been paid; and multiple subcontractors even threatened us with liens on our home. I strongly would urge anyone considering Carlson Customs to look elsewhere for your home improvement needs.

Do not use this person for any remodeling. Very unreliable.
