Weve gone to great lengths to hire individuals that we feel are trustworthy, dependable, and hard working! Our staff is bonded and insured and has been provided with extensive on-the-job training. Carmen's Housekeeping is a small home cleaning company. We are not franchised; therefore, our services can be specialized to meet your needs, not the needs of any corporation. In addition, while some cleaning companies do not offer oven cleaning, fire place vacuuming, and routine ceiling fan cleaning, we do!

Carmen and her two helpers arrived for the cleaning job I needed done. A rental condo was left with a very dirty shower with glass doors and an electric cooktop and oven. I requested the minimum charge and time to do the job. Carmen was concerned that I be satisfied with the work that was done and had me check each area when there was still time left to make any improvements that were necessary. In the three hour time span, Carmen and her helpers did get rid of a huge amount of dirt in the shower and cooked on food on the stove. In addition a second bathroom was cleaned well.

Two workers... one spent half the day talking on the phone -- leaving the bulk of the work to her thinner partner. They arrived two hours prior to the scheduled time...and then the next day, didn't show up at all. I didn't even get a phone call...so I wound up sitting around the house all morning trying to get Carmen on the phone to no avail. The level of professionalism was nonexistant. I could get the same results (cheaper) by picking up homeless people off the street and giving them some temporary employment.

I don't think Carmen understood what a 'Move out' cleaning was. We had to ask her to come back after her initial 8 hours of cleaning to do obvious things that should have been done the first time around (ie, dusting completely an area, doing 'top to bottom' cleaning, etc). I feel this service is good for weekly cleaning of homes, but not 'perfection' cleaning for showing a home for sale. In the end we were satisfied since she ultimately cleaned it to our satisfaction, without charging extra $. She was eager to do the job to our satisfaction from the beginning to the end.

Carmen was the first to respond and asked for the job. She was flexible when my schedule changed and also was able to expand the scope of the job on the day of the clean. The place sparkled when she left!

Service was good however it took an hour over estimated time to complete the work. The pricing was not communicated thoroughly because the company did not tell me that their per hour charge was also per person. I ended up paying about 3x more than I would have paid at an alternate company. If things were better explained I may have been more satisfied with the service or went with an alternate company.

So far, I've just had the deep clean and was very pleased with the thorough job they did, but wish I had specified a limit for the number of hours I wanted to pay for. It ended up costing me quite a bit more than I would have payed if I'd thought it through ahead of time, but the house is VERY clean.

Carmen was late (3 hours) meeting me for the initial consultation appointment. Never bothered to call and let me know she was going to be late she just showed up on my doorstep 3 hours later. The houecleaners were supposed to come over at 10am every other Friday. The girls would show up anywhere between 8am and 10am. Our hardwood floors were very well cleaned, but not much else. The cleaning of the bathroom was the worst. There is no attention to detail. Each time they came, they would leave behind a cleaning tool (i.e. - duster, rags, vaccum pieces).

Carmen was great! She called me right away to set up an appointment. She was on time and knew exactly what needed to be done. She and her staff came in and overhauled my house in 2 hours and made it sparkle! I would definitely recommend her!
