Canâ  t say enough good things about the work they did. It was excellent. The crew Eddie, Winston, Matt and Mark were top-notch professionals. Eddie and Winston, who were on site most every day, did great work, paid close attention to every detail and went above and beyond our expectations. Everyone who worked on this project, which was an entire upstairs remodel, including two bathrooms, did quality work I would not heat to recommend this company to family and friends.

Mark with Carmon Contracting was wonderful. He was very communicative about the process, easy to reach when needed, and extremely professional. He quickly set up installation of a new roof and gutters with his team. Nelson and his crew replaced the roof and gutters in a day and a half and we couldn’t be happier with the work. The team also replaced our shutters with upgraded 3-board and batten shutters which look great. We are so pleased with Mark and his team, and look forward to using them again for future projects.

They did superior work, found my problem within 45 minutes and fixed it. But they seemed a bit pricey. They were always on time, but had a practice of calling the night before to say they were coming next morning. Not much advance notice. Even so, I would gladly call on them again--fantastic work, honesty and quality.

I used Carmon Contracting to completely finish my basement and add an egressed window. I had initially contacted several contractors for estimates, and I'm so glad I ended up using Carmon. The initial consultation went great, and far beyond what the other contractors had done for their consults. Chris Carmichael came to my house and spent a lot of time measuring and inspecting the area, and listened carefully to me and what I wanted. He did a thorough job providing the estimate, and spent as much time as I needed to understand the costs and process, which was really helpful, and made the process less intimidating. He took the time to answer all my questions and had many excellent ideas which were eventually incorporated into the final project. Also, Chris was extremely knowledgeable with regard to code requirements, and knew more about Virginia building laws than other companies. That in itself was something that really stood out to me, and made me feel a lot more secure in initiating such a large project on my home. Once the job started, everything Chris outlined went exactly as planned. The crew, headed by Eddie, was always on time and worked on my project diligently and with expertise. Eddie fully addressed any concerns or questions I had, and the crew always left the worksite very clean and organized. Anyone I spoke to knew their tasks and each worked with proficiency to complete. Winston, who worked most days, was pleasant and very skilled. As a team, Eddie and Winston provided me answers and a wealth of informationâ especially concerning the cutting of my cinderblock wall, to install the egress window. Overall, Carmon was really professional, thorough, and consistent, which made this process so much easier and less-stressful. The basement is now complete (ceiling, walls, flooring, closets, outlets, lighting) with a very nice egressed window. It looks great, and I couldnâ t be happier with the results. It was a real pleasure working with Carmon Contracting!

Carmon Contracting Corporation truly exceeded all of our expectations. They came into a situation where several other contractors had failed to locate the source of our problem. They were kind, proactive, and highly skilled in each of the various tasks required to repair our home.
