Carolina Flooring and Roofing

After searching by referrals and a previous vendor (LL), we decided to use Angis’ list to locate someone to do flooring. This is such a daunting task, because you don’t know who to trust anymore. My husband and I managed to get a response from CFR and a few others. After explaining what we wanted, the owner, Mr. Getzen spoke to us in detail about what we were requesting, material availability, cost and timing. He was very thorough. He did not try to sell us something we did not want. We managed to get most of the home refloored at a reasonable cost. Mr. Getzen was able to match a room we had done a few years ago by LL. According to LL the material no longer existed. Mr. Getzen was able to find material that was a close match. The project included 7 rooms. Removing existing materials and complete the project in one day. This included moving large furniture, replacing all baseboard trim and removing debris. His flooring team of three was very professional, prompt, and organized.

They were very responsive and professional and the roof looks great. They fixed all the problems that Maven hadn’t been able to fix in the past. They removed the roof shingles and repaired any bad sheeting. Installed Barrier material in the valleys and as needed. Installed synthetic underlay and 30 yr shingles. Excellent job. I have recommended them to anyone asking.

The office got in touch with me on Tuesday PM and Peyton came out Wednesday AM to look at the job and get me an estimate. As the job was pretty small he gave me a price and told me he could get some shingles for the ridge cap and would be back in an hour. He finished everything in less than an hour. I'm very happy with the experience

We wanted to upgrade our damaged roof from asphalt shingle to metal standing seam roofing to avoid future wind issues that plagued us in the past (hence the new roof) and one that would stand up to the saltwater issues we have here on the coast. Carolina flooring Roofing contacted me 20 minutes after I left a message late in the evening around 7 p.m. I was calling 2 get an estimate to get my roof fixed I was missing five or six shingles and I needed to get them fixed in order to sell my house. No kidding like 20 minutes after my message was left the owner of self I found out later his name was David called and said he was on his way from Jacksonville out towards the Southwest area on his way home to Sneads Ferry and said that he'd give him about 10 minutes he was going to check it home make sure he wasn't needed right away at home and that he would stop by and assess the repairs and see what it would take to fix them. He called me back less than 10 minutes later said that I it would be no problem then that we weren't taking away from his family time cuz that's what I was concerned about being so late I don't want to take away from family time he said no that's not an issue and he was already got your address so I'll be there in less than 5 minutes. So David showed up within 5 minutes it's probably about 7:45 8:00 now and he grabbed his ladder and grabbed his headlamp and headed up to the roof after checking out the pictures of the inspection that was done by the inspector who took pictures with the Drone and located where the tiles were missing and hello when he got up on the roof he was talking to us while we were standing on the driveway and he asked because you don't happen to have any of the shingles with you do cuz they were asphalt shingles and I was like well yes but not here he's like oh that's too bad like well we have them but they're three miles away so he said well if you can go grab them real quick and get me about five or six of them because I'll just make the repairs now and then that way you guys are taken care of and I don't have to worry about sending my crew out and I can just take care of it myself. So my wife left in about 10 minutes later she showed up with the shingles he took the shingles cut him the way he needed him and everything took him up made the repair and even found a shingle that wasn't even mentioned in the inspectors report and fix that shingle as well so now we're at about almost 84059 he did this all at night when it was dark take care of the issue there was a minimal charge and it was not even half of what I was expecting to pay I was expecting to be a lot more but he took care of it within that 3 hours of me calling him my roof was fixed and now I can carry on with the sale of the house. David has definitely restored my faith in people when you need something done and done right and even in my situation I need it done in a pinch and that's what he told me it sounded like when I left a message and that's why he made it to my house that night and was able to make the repairs.

This company was prompt and very nice. They were able to find a leak in my chimney and sealed it. Had a rain recently and the leak was not there.I would very definitely recommend this company.
