Tree Removal
When I hired this company I specifically said I needed the wood cut up to firewood length. Now I have to hire someone to recut the pieces of wood so I can split the wood on my splitter. That means more money out of my pocket.

"We were happy to cut up all the wood into fire wood size pieces. For liability, my employees are not allowed to use your wood splitter which was stated up front. It was also repeatedly stated each time you asked the guys to split your firewood for you. Firewood size pieces mean small enough to handle but not split. I would recommend you buying firewood already split in the future. The price was heavily discounted for you because you are a senior. We also moved all the wood for you and stacked it next to your wood splitter. We spent an extra day there in doing so and did not charge you any additional money. We did that out of our concern for you"

I had hired another company to cut down an enormous tree that hung over our deck. They took my deposit and never came back. A friend recommended Shannon at NC tree. I called and they came out to look at my tree and give me a quote They were the real deal. Licensed and insured. Many great reviews. My tree was taken down without any damage to my deck. Clean up was great. I really wish that I had done some research before being scammed. Lesson learned. Very happy customer!

The lady took my money and never trimmed my trees. She refused to give me a refund. I still have the receipt for payment.

"Mr. McFadden, Our company policy is to not take a deposit unless it is a power line drop with Duke Power. We coordinated that on your behalf with Duke Power and we came out on 4 separate occasions. According to Duke Powers Supervisor, and our foreman, you wanted the trees cut and for Duke Power to pay the bill. Sir, that is not how that works. Duke Power will trim the tree so it clears the lines for safety; but when the trees are safe and on your property, Duke made the decision not to remove; therefore, its your responsibility. As far as the small deposit; its non refundable as we successfully coordinated the one drop for you. Technically, you"

Great service! Trimmed some trees to enhance growth/appearance and cut down a few ‘wild’ ones I was having trouble with. Cleared away yard debris and even killed a pesky (poisonous) snake that was NOT part of the quote! :) Very clear on pricing upfront and strives to meet the customer’s needs. Highly recommend!

Shannon was always on time at the job site. She would look it over and give me a fair quote. On acceptance her team went to work immediately. When the job was complete, I was ask to check and see if I was happy with what was done. It was always perfect and every thing was always clean. The entire team was very polite and professional. They removed 14 shrubs and a handful of limbs in less than three hours. They also hauled everything away. Kind, professional, prompt. I will 100% call on her and her team in the future.

Shannon and her team showed up on time and ready to work! After looking over the area that needed cleanup and discussing the trees that needed removal or pruning, they gave me a quote. On my approval, they got straight to work. The team was thorough and professional. They checked in with me once during the process to clarify an issue and checked in when finished to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. When I wanted one more limb removed, they quickly accommodated me. Everything was cleaned up and hauled away. Price was very reasonable. I will definitely hire again.
