We hired Robert West to address some water-damaged siding and trim. He and his crew did a great job quite efficiently. It was a good experience from start to finish. Robert is professional, prompt, courteous, flexible, and his rate was very reasonable. I really appreciated how Robert shared photos of the progress along the way. We will definitely be working with him on future improvements.

Carpentry Pride did a wonderful job building new doors to reface our kitchen cabinets. The cost was way below the cost of new cabinets. The product was marvelous. The service was the best: timely, professional, and guaranteed. We have shared this work and all like the exceptional craftsmanship. I highly recommend them as they also installed an entrance door as an add on project. All done with pleasure.

I hired this contractor to replace a flat roof covered with deck floorboards. A previous contractor 10 years ago had not properly flashed the area where roof meets the sidewall of the house. Carpentry Pride removed two courses of siding planks to reinstall the flashing, and then replaced the existing roll roofing with EPDM, and rebuilt the deck on top. However, they did not replace the siding they had removed, and did not clean up the work site; they left a hugh pile of construction debris in the yard and refused to clean it up. Also, I later found out that the contract they gave me violates Maine law in several significant ways: they required an advance payment far beyond what is permitted by law, they did not include a warranty of their work, and they did not attached the obligatory statement of consumer rights. This contractor was not cheap, and the quality left much be desired. I very much regret hiring this contractor.
