Carpentry and Construction Services

The workman destroyed my door. Now I cannot even lock it. They said they would not charge me because I have to find someone to come and repair the damage he did. They have charged my credit card for $188 . How can I get a refund ??

Bill did a great job for a reasonable price

Bill was very responsive and knowledgeable. I hired him to make some repairs on my garage fascia, soffit, and on the framing at the overhead door opening, due to damage by termites and moisture. His work was excellent. After that, when I removed the gutters to do some painting, I discovered some additional damage to a fascia board that was hidden by a gutter, so I had to hire him again to fix that. He was able to come back out in less than a week, and did a great job again. I would highly recommend him, and would definitely use him if I need any more carpentry work done.

The service performed was not listed above, and I was not permitted to enter the exact work performed. Shame on you HOMEADVISER, you should allow the customer to enter what service was done. William G Lundburg was very professional both in quoting the job and completing it.

Bill was extremely quick to respond to phone calls and seemed very knowledgeable about my project which was to have some grab bars installed in my parent ceramic shower. He quoted a fair price ($75/hr) and stated it would take him about an hour or slightly more. I responded that I could expect a cost of about $150 and He said absolutely not that was too high and since I was supplying the grab bars the cost should come in around $100. He stated multiple times that he does very similar installs all the time and that he is very familiar with them and that he would have no issues. (He even suggested where to go to pick out the grab bars we wanted to best match their shower) My problem is that he did the work and seemed to struggle with the installation, telling my parents he had not done one like this before. What? You told me you had experience installing these and these were basic bars just a different finish. And then he charged $225. That is a big difference from $100. Would not hire him again.

There is a travel charge. Ask if he will be bringing someone with him and if you will be charged a labor rate for that person.

Bill was awesome! He did the work that was promised, took the time to make sure I understood what was being done, and did quality work! He's also just good people and I'd recommend him to anyone. Will definitely use him for further handyman services when I can't do things myself.

He did not charge enough!!! I have shown other Toms work and to the person, they were surprised at the quality workmanship, time and cost! Including removal of a non-standard stair, he cleaned up. Now for the details: He had to make three custom stringers-5 stars Install stringers and treads-5 stars Install risers-5 stars left useful materials and removed the rest-5 stars NO SHORTAGES, that means I need to go and by something (no additional cost-knew what he was doing-5 stars And were as estimated-5 stars Overall rating at least 10 stars Get him before he retires and goes fishing.
