Terrible experience. The floor was installed and it looked nice. After two weeks it started to bubbling. They refused to fix it.

Very professional from the owner of the company to the 2 technicians that did the water proof wood laminate installation. They were very knowledgeable of everything they did. We are very happy how the job turned out and would highly Recommend them. In fact I was talking to one of my neighbors and she saw the Carpet King sign on the truck. She wanted their phone number. I was very happy to refer them to her.

From the first phone call to the final goodbye after completion, this was a wonderful experience! Herbie and his installers all knocked it out of the park. Excellent price for the product and the installation was top notch.

Regarding carpet installation: The initial service was great. An estimate was provided punctually, as was the next-day installation. The crew members were cordial and professional. The installation was done quickly. That seemed like a good thing at first. It's only later that I realized it was not. There were a few light stains on the carpet that I noticed after the installer left. I was told a clean cloth would take care of them. Most, not all, stains came off with a light scrubbing. As I planned to buy a carpet cleaner, anyway, I didn't think it was a big deal, and went about my day. It was only later that I discovered other issues. Three electrical socket covers were scratched and scraped bad enough that I had to remove, clean, repaint, and replace them. There was also damage to the baseboard moulding. Having sanded and repainted all of them before installation, recognizing new damage wasn't difficult. Dents and chipping were evident, likely from stray hammer strikes. There were also some scratches on the wall. I sanded and repainted where necessary. It's only while I was on the ground making these corrections that I detected the last straw: consistent, long cut marks along the entire perimeter of the baseboard moulding, likely from careless use of a utility knife. Exasperated that I would have to waste even more of my time sanding and repainting to account for what now appeared to be a rushed job, I sent Carpet King an email. They didn't bother to reply. No offer to fix the damage. No apology. Nothing. This negative review is to warn others: examine the work closely before the installer hurries to his next job. I was distracted asking him whether I had enough room to install a new, small piece of baseboard in a corner I neglected. Then he asked for payment and was gone. He made no mention of the damage. A customer should not have to correct for such careless work and then be ignored.
