Carpet One was exceptional in professional courtesy and execution of work promised. John Benzie was the original contact who came to my house to inspect what work i wanted done and showed me samples of flooring and carpet from which to choose. His respectful manner showed a personal interest in my project, and took the time to explain and answer all my questions. The craftsmen that did the job were likewise respectful and worked all day till they completed the job. Their work is outstanding. I am very pleased and highly recommend this company to anyone needing flooring done in their home. I have already recommended them to my friends and family. The crew removed our old carpet, prepped and leveled the subfloors, and installed LVP and new trim with great workmanship. The floors look fantastic. Highly recommend!

Wood Flooring - Install or Completely Replace
We had a complicated situation on a second floor with sagging beams and plywood subflooring that rolled in peaks and valleys like the hills of Dover. Our dreams of hardwood flooring were almost dashed, but John was the man with the plan and he called in the experts to get the job done! We are convinced they performed a miracle because this can’t possibly be the same house we bought! They were fast and reliable and the finished job is above and beyond what we could have hoped for! Would recommend John in a heartbeat!

What a terrific experience! From first communication, HC1 was professional, friendly, helpful, and fair. John came to the house to measure and discuss what I wanted. He offered a variety of options in both flooring and price point. He explained the process clearly and the written proposal was in line with what we had discussed. 24hrs before the job was to take place, he contacted me with the name of the lead contractor who would be in charge and the time they would be there. Everything went smoothly. The project was finished in a timely manner and the floors look gorgeous. Everything about this experience was top notch. On a scale of 1 to 10…this one goes to 11!

Scheduled a padding and carpet installation w John. I was promptly called back and all my questions were answered. Set an appt and was told who my installer would be and the arrival time. The installer was Jason. . He was a fine young man. Polite and professional. Was neat and efficient and got right to work. When I saw the complete job I was blown away. Not a wrinkle just perfect! I couldn’t be happier w the job itself and fair pricing as well as the whole experience from beginning to end. And again w the quality of Jason’s work! I was very pleased with the beautiful floor refinishing work of Carpet One. John and his crew were professional, knowledgeable, and polite. I was unsure what Duraseal stain color to use on my red oak floors, and they took the time to apply different stain options to a small section so I could see the differences. I ended up choosing a 50-50 mix of Dark Walnut and Classic Grey, with three coats of satin polyurethane. My floors are now a milk chocolate color that masks the pink tones of the red oak while still showing the grain of the wood.

The job came out beautifully! When Ienter my house, th first thing I look at is the flooring and what a difference it has made in the appearance of the house. I should have done it ages ago and thanks to Carpet One the flooring is great and easy to walk on. John was very professional and explained all options and pricing. He was great working within your budget. I stopped by unexpectedly one day and the workers wre so busy at work. Nice. Would hightly recommend them and will definitelu use them again in the future.
